Katy Perry Claps Back at Dance Critics with Epic Stage Move and Bold Statement!

Katy Perry is making sure the world sees her explosive dance moves.

During a recent performance on my Lifestyles tour that commenced on April 23rd, I found myself addressing some of my critics. At the age of 40, here’s what I had to say:

In a TikTok video, Katy took a short dance break as she sang “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).” In this moment, she raised her arms above her head and kicked out her legs, much like doing jumping jacks.

To make certain both her supporters and critics witnessed her performance, Katy declared to the audience, “Prove to them that when they claim I can’t dance,” then proceeded to elevate her skirt, revealing a glimpse of her undergarments to the throng.

Katy, mother of 4-year-old Daisy Dove with partner Orlando Bloom, has once again stood up against her critics. Following comments from critics about her Blue Origin Space flight, which also included Gayle King and Lauren Sanchez among others, the “Firework” singer has reassured her fans that she will stay true to herself.

I just wanted to let you know that everything’s alright with me. I’ve put in a lot of effort to understand myself, discern reality, and identify what truly matters to me. When the digital world becomes hostile and tries to belittle or bully me, I respond with kindness and send love because I recognize there are many people out there who are hurting deeply. The internet can be a place where unstable and unhealed individuals vent their anger.

She admitted that she’s not flawless, in fact, she avoids using that word. She’s simply walking her human path through life, with a wide-ranging audience, and sometimes she stumbles. But, she quickly rises and carries on, determined to continue playing the game of life. Through her rough and tumble journey, she keeps finding hope in the light, and as she does, new opportunities seem to open up for her.
