Keith Urban Shares Update on Nicole Kidman After Her Mom’s Death

As a dedicated fan who has followed Nicole Kidman‘s journey for years, it’s heart-wrenching to see her go through this difficult time. Losing a parent is never easy, and my heart goes out to her and her family. However, I admire their strength and resilience in the face of adversity.

Nicole Kidman is feeling supported amid her heartbreak.

After the passing of the late mother of the former star of ‘The Perfect Couple’, Janelle Ann Kidman, Keith Urban provided an update on how his spouse and family are coping with the situation.

He shared with TopMob News during the iHeart Radio Music Festival on September 22, “We’re managing, we’re making it.” It seems to be bringing our family closer together.

As a loyal supporter, I’d like to express that when I witnessed the heartwarming outpouring of support for Nicole, it brought a sense of appreciation to my heart. Keith, who is blessed with two beautiful daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13, took a moment to acknowledge this by saying, “She truly feels your love and gratitude.” (Stay tuned on TopMob News tonight, Sept. 23, for more from the iHeart Radio Music Festival.)

Two weeks following the passing of “Let It Roll” singer, an announcement was made. This unfortunate event happened when Janelle, aged 84, died, coincidentally around the time when Nicole attended the Venice Film Festival to promote her movie titled “Babygirl“.

Consequently, Halina Rejn, the movie’s director, graciously received the Best Actress award in Nicole’s stead and read out her statement to the audience.

Today, I’ve landed in Venice, only to learn moments later that my stunningly courageous mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, has sadly passed away. This news has left me utterly stunned, and I must now rush to be with my loved ones.

The statement continued, “But this award is for her. She shaped me, she guided me and she made me. I’m beyond grateful that I that I get to say her name to all of you through Halina. The collision of life and art is heartbreaking, and my heart is broken.”

Despite the specific reason for Janelle’s passing remaining private, it was known that her health had been a concern over the past few years. In 2022, Nicole announced her plans to go back to her residence in Australia, to be with her ailing mother.

A few days following the announcement of their mother’s demise, Nicole and her sister, Antonia Kidman, shared a heartfelt statement conveying their appreciation.

On September 12th, the Oscar-winning Antonia and I, together with our family, expressed gratitude for the abundance of love and compassion we’ve experienced this week. Each message from those who cherished and respected our dear Mother has touched us deeply, and we can never fully convey how much it means to us.

She said, “We appreciate your consideration of our privacy while we support each other. Thank you on behalf of all of us.
