Keke Palmer is uncovering new details about her breakup.

In her latest release on May 9, titled “My Confession”, the lead actress of ‘Nope’ openly discussed the true reasons behind her breakup with ex-partner Darius Jackson.

Actually, contrary to popular belief that Usher serenading Keke at his Las Vegas residency in July 2023 might have led to her and Darius splitting up, Keke herself disclosed that their relationship had already ended before she went to watch the “Burn” singer’s performance.

In the summer of 2023, Keke was in Las Vegas, and her partner left her, so she boarded a plane. On the first verse, she sings about trying to return to a state of being okay after the breakup, so she decided to have a girls’ night out as a way to cope.

After the concert, Darius criticized the 31-year-old woman for wearing a see-through dress while speaking with Usher, posting on Twitter at the time, “It’s the outfit that bothers me.. you’re a mom.” Keke, who didn’t make their breakup public until three months later, felt she received unjust criticism as a result of his comment.
