Keke Palmer's Jaw-Dropping Met Gala Look Will Leave You SPEECHLESS

Keke Palmer is having one of them glamorous days.

On May 5, 2025, the actress famously known as “Nope” graced the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York City, and her striking appearance undoubtedly caught everyone’s attention as she ascended the renowned steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. At the high-end fashion event, held with A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Anna Wintour, and honorary co-chair LeBron James overseeing, Keke showcased an impressive white halter top designed to mimic a tuxedo, complete with a dramatic train.

To complete her outfit that followed the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” trend this year, the 31-year-old accessorized with black pants, a stylish feathered hat, and peep-toe shoes.

But this isn’t the first time Keke has made everyone do a double take on the Met Gala red carpet.

Previously, the actress who played a role in “One of Them Days” captivated everyone in a dazzling silver Marc Jacobs dress adorned with cutouts, aligning perfectly with the “Sleeping Beauties: Reviving Fashion’s Allure” concept.

For Keke, who is affectionately known as “mom” by her two-year-old son Leo, fashion is a matter of embracing change and adjusting one’s style according to different stages in life. Her former partner, Darius Jackson, played a role in this philosophy.

The host of the ‘Baby, This Is Keke Palmer’ podcast shared with Emma Chamberlain on the red carpet at the 2024 charity gala that they are always striving to grow and change,” she said. “I’ve recently become a mother, my son is now one year old. I’m turning 30 this year, sweetheart. I’m getting older, but I’m also becoming more refined and less complaining.

Additionally, this flexible mindset also characterizes her professional journey, regardless of whether the Hollywood industry has not always been receptive in a similar manner.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2020, Keke shared that her mom has always encouraged her versatility throughout her career. However, she noted that the entertainment industry back when she entered it tended to restrict individuals to one specific role. For example, if you were a movie star, you wouldn’t be considered for TV roles, and vice versa.

She added, “I do see the shift. And I think it’s magical.”
