Taylor Swift‘s boyfriend and Justin Timberlake helped bring SexyBack to Las Vegas this week.

This week, Grammy winner and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, along with his retired NFL star brother, Jason Kelce, participated in the annual 8AM Invitational celebrity golf tournament at the Wynn Golf Club. Their team, filled with stars, emerged victorious against Olympian Michael Phelps. A video shared by the singer on April 27th captured Travis and his brother showcasing their dance moves on the course.

During their Vegas trip – Travis’ initial significant public outing following the Chiefs’ defeat to Jason’s previous team, the Philadelphia Eagles, in the 2025 Super Bowl in February – the Kelce brothers and the performer of “SexyBack” spent a night out together. This was during the 8AM Invitational After Dark event held at the Wynn Las Vegas casino.

In the Instagram video shared by 8AM Golf on April 26th, Travis was captured seated at a Blackjack table. When asked, he responded affirmatively, saying something along the lines of “Affirmative, ma’am.” He was dressed casually in a cream crocheted cardigan, black T-shirt, glasses, and a baseball cap during the video.

For quite some time now, NFL star Travis has been close friends with someone often known as JT (Justin). They’ve enjoyed numerous rounds of golf together. In the year 2024, an interesting incident took place: Travis listed Justin, his good friend, as the most prominent contact in his phone book—second only to Taylor.

But if you called the singer or athlete right then, it’s unlikely they would respond.

In the Chiefs’ TikTok video, Travis replied, “No way,” expressing his gratitude to Justin. However, he pointed out that the person in question is quite occupied.

Beyond my time spent socializing with the fellows in Las Vegas during the NFL’s offseason break, I’ve also been seen out and about with Taylor. Notably, we recently took a trip to Big Sky, Montana earlier this March, where we had the pleasure of joining sportscaster Erin Andrews for dinner, as reported by several sources.

In the electrifying summer of 2023, my heartbeat synchronized with the rhythm of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour as it graced the stage at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri. Little did I know, this concert would mark the beginning of an extraordinary love story between Taylor and Travis Kelce, a tale that would captivate me like no other.

As an ardent fan of Taylor Swift, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs eagerly attended the concert, hoping to present Taylor with a friendship bracelet bearing his number. Unfortunately, his attempt was thwarted by her pre-performance routines.

Travis expressed his feelings of being let down during the July 26th episode of his New Heights podcast, as she doesn’t engage in conversation before or after her performances because she needs to preserve her voice for the 44 songs she sings. Consequently, he felt a tinge of sadness since he wasn’t able to give her one of the handmade bracelets he prepared for her.

Following a mishap he later called “rock solid,” Travis bravely asked the Grammy-winning artist if she’d like to attend the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

He mentioned on The Pat McAfee Show that he had made an offer: “I tossed the idea out there, I invited her to challenge me to a performance at Arrowhead Stadium.” He explained, “I said to her, ‘I’ve watched you light up the stage here, maybe it’s time for us both to see who can make it more electric.’ So, we’ll have to wait and see what transpires in the coming weeks.

Travis had been sporting a mustache since August, when it made its first appearance during training camp, by the time he met Taylor for the first time.

Later on, he remarked about that period, “For a while, the mustache and the number 87 were quite iconic, and I wore them when I first encountered Taylor.

According to a reliable source, by early September, there had been occasional text messages and conversations exchanged between Travis and Taylor.

“It’s been very low-key,” the insider explained, “as he’s been in season.”

Upon receiving an invitation from Travis, Taylor went to Arrowhead Stadium to watch Donna Kelce, the athlete’s mom, alongside Travis and the Chiefs as they faced off against the Chicago Bears. Following the game, photographs emerged of Taylor and Travis sharing affectionate moments at a nearby bar.

Initially, rumors suggested they were meeting for the first time in person, but later on, the “Karma” artist explained that they had already spent a considerable period developing their relationship prior to their face-to-face encounter.

As Taylor noted, “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” 

To show that things were getting serious, Taylor invited her friends like Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter and Antoni Porowski to the game where the Chiefs battled the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

It’s also notable that Taylor has been growing closer to Brittany Mahomes, the spouse of Travis’ best friend and teammate Patrick Mahomes, not just during NFL matches, but in their personal lives as well. This could be another indication that Travis might indeed be ‘The One’ for Taylor.

On October 14th, the couple unexpectedly showed up on an episode of Saturday Night Live, taking their relationship to TV screens. They further conquered New York City by attending the after-party for the NBC sketch show and having a romantic evening at the Waverly Inn.

During a week without a game, Travis decided to travel to Argentina to witness Taylor’s Era Tour’s South American leg. Not only did the NFL star share quality time with Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, at the November 11th show in Buenos Aires, but he was also acknowledged from the stage with a special mention.

“Karma is that guy on the Chiefs,” Taylor sang, “coming straight home to me.”

Following the performance, the artist from Midnights could be spotted rushing towards Travis off-stage and warmly embracing him with an impassioned smooch.

After the concert, the Midnights performer was noticed sprinting backstage to meet Travis and share a fervent kiss with him.

Taylor addressed the lavender craze surrounding her appearances at Travis’ games.

She informed Time that she will watch him pursue his passion, and they will support each other. Other people may be present, but they don’t mind. In contrast, she mentioned that some people go to great lengths to keep their relationship a secret.

 

On December 17th, the musical sensation made Travis’s game a special family event by inviting her father along to support him.

On New Year’s Eve for the very first time, Taylor and Travis celebrated the occasion together, exchanging a loving kiss as the clock chimed midnight on January 1.

Taylor continued to grow closer to Travis’ family, spending time with his brother, Jason Kelce, and his sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, during the Kansas City Chiefs’ match against the Buffalo Bills.

On the day the Chiefs claimed their AFC Championship title, securing them a place in the 2024 Super Bowl, Taylor met up with Travis on the football field. They marked the occasion with a joyful kiss and then confessed their love for each other.

“Tay, I’m gonna enjoy with the guys,” he told her. “I love you—so much it’s not funny.”

 
 

On the field in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024, the couple passionately kissed each other following Travis’s lead as he secured a win for the Kansas City Chiefs.

On February 12th, Taylor shared videos of Travis on social media for the very first time, playfully joking about their night out clubbing with him following the Super Bowl and introducing her parents to the athlete in an unexpected way.

Taylor Swift’s debut Instagram post with Travis Scott was a selfie taken backstage during Taylor’s Eras tour at Wembley Stadium in London, which also included Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

At the seventh Eras tour concert in London’s Wembley Stadium, the NFL player made an appearance on stage alongside his girlfriend, stepping up to support her during her rendition of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”.

Taylor attended the initial game of the 2024-25 regular season with Travis, and it seems they recreated a public display of affection similar to one seen in a photo posted by Chariah Gordon. The picture features Chariah and her boyfriend, Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

The duo were present at the nuptials of Karen Elson, who married Lee Foster, the proprietor of Electric Lady Studios, held in New York City.

The next day, the pair attended the men’s singles final match at the U.S. Open.

The two stepped out for a double dinner date with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds in NYC.

Over the final weekend of 2024, they ventured out together for consecutive dates in New York City. Remarkably, they coordinated their attire on each occasion.
