Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ 29-Year Marriage

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos‘ flame is burning hotter than ever on a special day.

On May 1st, the co-hosts of Live With Kelly and Mark celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. To mark this special occasion, they expressed touching messages about their long-lasting relationship. Mark even shared a lovely selfie of them as a couple, along with pictures from their elopement in Las Vegas’ Chapel of the Bells back in 1996.

The Riverdale alum, 54, captioned his Instagram post, “Happy 29th anniversary sexy.”

Kelly, who’s 54 years old too, posted some nostalgic photos with Mark from their vacation. On Instagram, she wrote, “Eternal Love in the Italian Renaissance.” Wishing a happy 29th anniversary to her husband, Mark, on social media with the handle @instasuelos!

As a connoisseur of the finer points of life, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing an intriguing evolution in the bond between two notable individuals. This transformation became particularly evident when Mark graciously stepped into the role as Kelly’s permanent co-host on Live With Kelly and Mark in 2023, allowing me to gain a unique insider’s perspective into their relationship dynamics.

As to the secret to the success of their romance? Romance.

On a past episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan in 2021, Kelly expressed that Mark had everything figured out with him through the lens of love and intimacy.

Meanwhile, during the show’s temporary hostship by Mark, he countered with “Not everything” in response. His wife then retorted, “It seems like almost everything.

In 1995, Kelly and Mark first crossed paths while filming the soap opera “All My Children.” Mark had just joined as the character Mateo Santos, who became Hayley Vaughan’s new love interest, and from that moment on, they felt an immediate connection.

In an interview with TopMob News in 2022, Kelly shared, “Somehow, I just knew we would always be together forever. It was a feeling I couldn’t explain then, and it remains mysterious to me now.

Following Mark’s initial audition for his part in All My Children, Kelly dreamt vividly about him. She described it as a scenario where we were both on a plane bound for Rome, and we had a baby girl. The baby was wearing red footie pajamas. I assure you, this wasn’t a joke.

In the year 2001, the couple was blessed with Lola, who is now 23 years old. Although Kelly’s ideal life with Mark, along with their two other children, Michael (age 27) and Joaquin (age 22), has become a reality, the enduring love between them continues to inspire their offspring even after 30 years.

In 2022, Michael explicitly told Entertainment Tonight that their relationship embodies the ideal of ‘relationship goals.’

Look back at Kelly and Mark’s sweetest family photo moments over the years.

This year, for the first time in over 20 years, Kelly didn’t need to send a child to school in September. Instead, she chose to fill that gap by revisiting something from 2008.

It appears that Michael might be catching his younger sister off guard in the photo their father posted for Lola’s 19th birthday back in 2020.

Joaquin is surrounded by love at his high school graduation.

During my recent excursion to Ann Arbor, I playfully hinted to @instasuelos that it seems he won’t be sharing a residence with his brother @joaquinconsuelos when the latter starts at the University of Michigan in the fall.

Kelly decided to take a brief break in March 2022, attending the Division 1 Wrestling Championships in Detroit where the Wolverines were competing.

As a freshman, Joaquin did not participate in wrestling this time around. However, Kelly commented during her appearance on Live, “Watching those young men made me feel like I aged several years.

In June 2021, the entire family successfully traveled to both Greece and Italy, as the pandemic had previously disrupted their plans in the previous year (2020).

Kelly mentioned that due to delays, last year’s graduation trip for our eldest son and niece ended up being postponed until it became a family trip for the newborns too.

From their idyllic Mediterranean vacation, they managed to capture a beautiful family photo that became their choice for the 2021 holiday card, selected by Kelly.

Kelly labeled this old picture as ‘Happy Easter’ from the year 2012, since Lola gave it her approval. On social media, she always takes advantage of opportunities to poke fun at her ever-surprised teenager.

Mark wished the “spectacular women” in his life a happy International Women’s Day.

“Happy Valentine’s Day to the loves of my life!” Kelly wrote from the heart on Feb. 14, 2022.

Kelly celebrated the fruits of her labor on National Sons Day, Sept. 28, 2021.

Kelly and Mark’s oldest son, Michael Consuelos (then 24 years old), shared this lovely throwback photo with his mom on her 51st birthday in 2021, saying, “Happy Birthday, Mom!! I wish you the best day possible. You’re amazing and a role model for everyone. When I call you a T-Rex, it’s a compliment. By now, you should know that.

In August 2020, Kelly Ripa posted a remarkable reenactment of an old family photo from 2003 on Instagram. With her youngest son, Joaquin, sitting in her lap and her older children, Michael and Lola, perfectly positioned, they managed to recreate the scene exceptionally well, even though Kelly humorously pointed out that “objects might seem bigger.

In May 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Kelly and Mark celebrated their eldest son Michael’s graduation from New York University virtually. To commemorate the event, Kelly posted on Instagram: “In an instant, you graduated college. MJC, the happiness and pride you’ve brought our family is beyond words. I adore you wholeheartedly.

In a nostalgic throwback post on Instagram, Kelly compared the growth of her kids over the years by saying, “#tbt 2011 vs. 2019 The walls appear smaller now,” reflecting the significant change in their size since then.

“The Graduate #2019,” Kelly wrote on Instagram celebrating Lola’s final days of high school.

Kelly receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015 was an all-hands-on-deck event.

Kelly matched her son’s gown and the flowers at Joaquin’s middle school graduation.

If your family is as stunningly attractive, you’d probably find yourself taking selfies much more frequently than usual.

Holidays always bring family together and this famous crew is no exception.

Way back in 2003, I was beyond ecstatic to be part of the crowd that cheered on Kelly and her husband, Mark Consuelos, as they graced the stage for the opening night of “A Year With Frog and Toad” at Maxine’s in New York City. What a magical evening it was!

In the year 2001, Mark and Kelly attended the premiere of “ATLANTIS: The Lost Empire” with their son, right at the Ziegfeld Theatre located in New York City.

No matter if they’re heading to a warm, tropical destination or a cold, snowy one, this family is consistently able to enjoy themselves thoroughly.
