As a long-time fan of both Kelly Ripa and Miley Cyrus, I find it utterly fascinating to witness the profound impact that Hannah Montana has had not just on millions of fans worldwide, but also on the lives of the next generation. It’s truly heartwarming to see Lola Consuelos following in the musical footsteps inspired by Miley’s iconic character.
While Lola Consuelos may share a resemblance with her mother, Kelly Ripa points out that there’s another person to credit for Lola’s passion for music.
Indeed, the TV show host attributes Miley Cyrus, as well as her character Hannah Montana, with guiding Lola towards a musical career.

Actually, since Lola, a graduate of NYU in 2023, who’s now fully immersed in the music industry, went with her mother to the ceremony, it was partly because of this shared interest.
“Kelly mentioned that her 23-year-old daughter is present because she wanted to watch Miley Cyrus. It was truly exciting to share the same space with her.”
Lola, who’s garnered a huge fanbase with her cover versions of songs such as “Espresso” on social platforms, recently released a fresh track titled “Roles” this year.
Additionally, both Kelly and her father, Mark Consuelos, showed their enthusiasm for the new track by sharing about it on social media. “The role she was destined to sing,” Kelly wrote in a May 31 post that included a snippet of the song. “Stream Roles this weekend and feel uplifted.”
However, it’s not just Lola who has been influenced by Hannah; Miley herself acknowledged the impact her character had during her acceptance speech for the Disney Legend award.
In her acceptance speech, the Grammy-winning artist expressed pride for having been Hannah Montana, explaining how she helped shape Miley in numerous ways. She dedicated this award to Hannah and all of her devoted fans, as well as everyone who has made her dreams come true. To quote her iconically, “This is the life.” (paraphrased from the original)

She shared a bit of an insider secret about being a Disney Legend, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m the one who reveals things you’re not supposed to know,” she said. “What I want to emphasize is that legends also experience fear. I’m feeling fearful at the moment, but the unique aspect is that we push through and so can all of you daily. It’s heroic to be afraid and move forward regardless. There’s no such thing as failure when you make an effort.”
