It seems Kentucky is down bad for another Eras Tour.

In truth, the Unbridled Eve Derby Gala recently mentioned they were offering Taylor Swift concert tickets in their latest auction, despite her not yet confirming a 2026 tour. Now, one of the gala’s coordinators is expressing regret for this error.

According to a statement released by Tammy York Day, the gala co-founder on April 17th, there was an error in the latest Unbridled Eve press release which incorrectly mentioned a ‘Signed guitar by Taylor Swift and two concert tickets for her 2026 tour’ as one of our auction items. We sincerely apologize for causing excitement among Taylor Swift fans.

The day pointed out that the auction should have specified that the prize was “two tickets for a concert during her future tour,” given they are unaware of when Taylor Swift will resume touring again. Taylor Swift concluded her latest Eras Tour, which began in March 2023 and generated over $2 billion in sales, last December, without any hints about reviving it.

Indeed, the singer from the Tortured Poets Department concluded her nearly two-year tour in a unique fashion. Towards the end of November, just fortnight before her last three shows in Canada, she unveiled an “Eras Tour” book containing approximately 500 exclusive photos and Taylor Swift’s personal insights.

Initially, on April 12, the Louisville-based news station WDRB reported an error regarding the auction prize, which they later corrected to include a ticket change. This error involved Taylor Swift, but she wasn’t alone; Yung Gravy, Gary Clark Jr., and John Schneider from “The Dukes of Hazzard” are also expected at the May 2 gala.

Despite the unexpected twist at Unbridled Eve causing a stir being an oversight, it indeed sparked excitement among fans on social media. Fortunately for Swifties, the Eras Tour is still thriving, as evidenced by its concert film and the numerous stunning photos from her nearly two-year journey.
