Truth be told, Kevin Gates is not apologizing to LeBron James.

Following the hip-hop artist’s critique regarding the appearance of his wife Savannah James, who has been married to him for 11 years, the Los Angeles Lakers player firmly stood by her side and reinforced his stance. The man in question is now 39 years old.

In a video posted on Instagram Stories recently, Kevin expressed, “Though it may cause pain, the truth ultimately mends; my friend, Bron, I hold you dear.

As long as you are being admired, it doesn’t matter if someone dislikes me,” he went on. “All that truly matters to me is your admiration. I can handle disagreements or falling outs, what I cherish is achieving success.

Previously, the “Me Too” rapper had shared his opinion that Savannah might not be an ideal match for LeBron, as her gaze during their pre-game handshake seemed different from how other women admired him.

In a video posted on Instagram on April 19th, Kevin expressed his sentiment, stating that Savannah’s gaze towards LeBron was not to his liking. He further clarified that if given the opportunity, he wouldn’t swap places with LeBron because of Savannah’s presence. Kevin added that when LeBron enters the scene, white women tend to show enthusiasm, exclaiming something like, “Oh oh oh.

The rapper known as “D U Down” also referred to Savannah as a “warden of the prison,” and he expressed that LeBron’s spirit was “so full of love and generosity, it made me sad to witness it.

And even upon initially posting the video, he knew it would inevitably be met with backlash.

Kevin commented in the video, ‘Many may disagree with what I’ve said, but I’m being truthful. If everyone likes me, then I’m not being authentic.’

He also expressed, “I admire LeBron deeply, but I can’t stand that he has to face such challenges during the playoffs.” As a fellow human, it’s tough for me to see him endure those tests.

However, when the athlete learned about the rapper’s comments concerning his wife, who has children with him including Bronny James (age 20), Bryce James (age 17), and Zhuri James (age 10) – it appeared as though he expressed strong disapproval by responding directly.
