Having followed the journey of Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson for quite some time, it’s heartening to see them embracing parenthood again.
Khloe Kardashian is sharing her emotional reaction to her daughter’s major milestone
The 40-year-old woman wasn’t holding back her feelings as she reminisced about dropping her 6-year-old daughter, True Thompson, off for her first day of First Grade.
Khloe posted on Snapchat on Aug. 26, expressing her feelings about True beginning first grade: “Every year it feels like an emotional rollercoaster when True starts a new school year. This particular year holds a significant milestone for her – she’s entering first grade.” She admitted that it’s tough for her to accept this change because True is now starting the first grade.
Acknowledging the pride she feels, Khloe shared that this significant event in their eldest child’s life also brings about a complex blend of emotions, including loss, apprehension, and fear.
The founder of Good American expresses a poignant sensation that with each day, she’s losing fragments of the person she once knew. These small parts are being replaced by new ones that will form the next wonderful individual she’ll come to know. Yet, she yearns for those past versions of her. Time seems to race ahead, quicker every year it appears, and this new academic year serves as a poignant reminder for her to cherish each moment fully and drink in all its experiences.
Nevertheless, Khloe, mother of two-year-old Tatum Thompson with Tristan, couldn’t help but marvel at how much True, her child, has matured.
She expressed, “She’s far beyond what I ever dared to imagine as a daughter.” She added, “Watching her develop fills me with anticipation for the years and the adventures yet to come.”
On True’s very first school day, Khloe prepared a delightful surprise for her child. She set up an enchanting arc of multi-colored balloons in the shape of a rainbow, and a grand sculpture made from vibrant rainbow-hued crayons to welcome him.
The grinning True posed with her mom, brother Tatum, and even her family’s aptly named cat Grey Kitty.
“Wow, off to First Grade you go! I’m just bursting with pride! You’re about to have an extraordinary year filled with learning and growth. Though I might be a bit emotional right now, I’ll gather myself together by the time we meet at pick-up.”
