Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Tristan's Brother's Struggle with Seizures

Khloe Kardashian is reflecting on Amari Thompson‘s strength amid his heath battle.

The famous Kardashians family member, who has children True, aged 6, and Tatum, aged 2, with ex-partner Tristan Thompson, spoke about their relationship while commemorating the 18th birthday of Tristan’s younger brother. (Amari’s significant milestone takes place during his battle with a severe form of epilepsy.)

On the April 3 episode, Khloe expressed that Amari reaching eighteen was a significant achievement for him. She added that each day spent with him is a precious gift.

Last summer’s gathering, attended by none other than mom Kris Jenner, sister Kim Kardashian, and their children, took an unexpected twist. When Amari experienced a short seizure, the emotional moment led to Kris shedding tears.

When encountering someone truly exceptional, and then witnessing something devastating occur in their life, one naturally desires to aid them. One yearns to resolve the issue and provide as much support as possible. I believe my mom feels exactly the same. She shares a deep bond with Amari, and being unable to offer significant assistance during this difficult time is extremely challenging for her.

Instead, Khloe intervenes to console her mother, letting her know that such incidents are common, and reassuring her that everything will be fine with him.

As someone well-versed in lifestyle matters, I’ve found myself in the position of knowing how to remain composed when Amari experiences a seizure. Being around him frequently has afforded me the opportunity to witness numerous seizures throughout his day. While I’m equipped with what to do during such situations, I understand that for those who haven’t been exposed to this scenario, it can be incredibly frightening and evoke feelings of helplessness.

Additionally, Khloe believes Kris reacted this way due to her empathy towards Amari, as Andrea Thompson, his mother, tragically passed away from a heart attack in 2023 when Amari was only 17. Since then, Tristan has been acting as his legal guardian.

Khloe explained, “My mom is the kind of person who always seeks to help others, and she usually finds solutions to problems. However, in this case, I believe she’s feeling quite distressed because it’s a situation beyond her control, leaving her uncertain about what action to take, and feeling utterly powerless.

And for Kris, the emotional experience is one that left an impression.

She shared with Khloe, her voice trembling with emotion, ‘I can’t help but feel so sad. Since I encountered him, he’s constantly on my mind, and I keep praying for him. It’s something I’ve never experienced before.’

However, Kris expressed her gratitude for being able to witness both Khloe’s and Amari’s moments, highlighting the significant role that his daughter plays in his life.

In a private moment, Kris expressed, “It’s truly amazing how she looks after him. She’s almost like a blessing sent from above, just as Amari is too.
