Instead of attending their usual Christmas Eve gathering at elder sibling Kendall Jenner’s residence on December 24th, Khloe provided an update regarding the wellbeing of her children True Thompson (age 6) and Tatum Thompson (age 2), whom she co-parents with Tristan Thompson.
On her Instagram Stories on the 26th of December, Khloe expressed regret that she couldn’t attend the Christmas Eve party. However, she clarified that it wasn’t a typical party this year; instead, it was just a gathering at Kendall’s house. Despite that, she lamented not being able to spend time with her family.
Last weekend wasn’t my best, I have to admit – I was under the weather. But here I am, feeling as good as new and ready to shine! I was in top form for our Christmas Eve celebrations and the festivities were just delightful.
Instead of spending Christmas Day joyfully with the family at Kris Jenner’s house, unfortunately, her older sister chose to take a nap in a separate room.
Khloe clarified, “True had a temperature of 105 degrees, which was quite frightening. It was awful, but she seems to be improving now. We spent yesterday together at my mom’s house, with her resting in another room while I prepared breakfast and other festivities, as we wanted to maintain the holiday atmosphere.
Actually, given how ill the six-year-old was, it was decided to wait until after Christmas to open her Santa’s presents instead.
The 40-year-old mentioned that they would only be working on Santa toys today since their child wasn’t in the mood yesterday. They added, “It’s a sign that your kid isn’t well when even Santa toys fail to interest them.” Excitedly, they expressed that they were relieved to see their child feeling better!
As an ardent admirer, I must admit, it was unusual to see the Kardashian matriarch absent from our traditional Christmas Eve gathering this year – a first in what feels like forever! Rather than filling my social media feeds with the usual holiday cheer, I found myself engrossed in making precious memories with little True. The magic of Christmas was felt more deeply as I chose to be fully present amidst the laughter and love shared within our family circle.
Despite missing the large family holiday get-together, Khloe and her children made an impact by unwrapping at least one special gift.
On December 25th, Kim Kardashian expressed extreme enthusiasm on her Instagram Stories about something, sharing photos of a sparkling scooter she received from Khloe, True, and Tatum. This stylish mode of transport will assist her in moving around as she recuperates from a broken foot.
