Kieran Culkin Makes Pregnancy Pact With Jazz Charton After Oscars Win

Kieran Culkin has a ludicrously capacious request for his wife.

At the 2025 Oscars, when the star of “A Real Pain” received the Best Supporting Actor award, he saw it as the perfect moment to announce his and Jazz Charton’s future family plans. This exciting journey had started following his victory at the 2023 Emmys.

Approximately a year ago, I made a rather foolish and impulsive statement in front of an audience similar to this one, saying that I would like another child from her since she mentioned if I won the award, she would give me the child. However, it turned out that she had said this because she didn’t believe I was going to win the award. Kieran, who has two children, Kinsey, 5, and Wilder, 3, with the model, clarified this on March 2nd, while holding a statuette in his hand.

As we stepped out of the theater following the show, my heart pounding with excitement, I vividly remember that fateful night when I took home the Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series Emmy for Succession. We were scouring a parking lot for her car, she clutched the coveted statuette in her hand. Suddenly, she exclaimed, “Oh my goodness, I did say that! I suppose I need to give you another child.” (You can check out all the winners here.)

However, Kieran had his eyes on an even bigger family, admitting that he really wanted four kids.

He went on to say, “She looked at me then and said, ‘I will reward you with four when you win an Academy Award.’ I extended my hand, and she agreed. For all this time, I never mentioned it until now, dear one. Don’t you recall that, darling?”

“Well, let me share something with you, my sweetheart, Jazz, the love of my soul,” he finished. “I didn’t think you had it in you, but no worries. I apologize for repeating this mistake and let’s focus on our children instead. What do you say? My heart is all yours!

Despite his obvious enthusiasm for the future, he made sure to express gratitude to those in his vicinity as he accepted his first-ever Oscar win for a role in the movie penned by Jesse Eisenberg. (He was also nominated alongside Yura Borisov from Anora, Edward Norton from A Complete Unknown, Guy Pearce from The Brutalist, and Jeremy Strong from The Apprentice.)

Kieran excitedly expressed his gratitude to Jesse Eisenberg for the film: “You’re amazing, truly a genius! I wouldn’t dare say it to your face, but I’ll let it sink in here. I won’t repeat it, so enjoy it. Thank you for this fantastic movie.
