Killing Floor 3 Launches on July 24th

As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! After experiencing an unexpected pause following our closed test, Tripwire Interactive has officially announced that the long-awaited Killing Floor 3 will be released on my calendar for July 24th. Get ready to blast off on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC!

According to a statement by Bryan Wynia, creative director, we’ve utilized extra development time to address community input and guarantee that the upcoming installment of the beloved cult action/horror series aligns with our collective imagination.

As a gamer myself, I can’t express enough how amazing it feels to see such unwavering support from our fan base. With the upcoming release on July 24th, we’re more than excited to share our creative vision with players right from the get-go. But that’s not all! Our studio is known for its commitment to continually enhancing the gaming experience, and we can’t wait to deliver new features and content post-launch, keeping the game fresh and engaging for everyone.

In the year 2091, Killing Floor 3 places you within the ranks of Nightfall, where you’ll rally resistance against Horzine Corporation and its hordes of Zeds. As part of a team of up to five, you’ll embark on missions, completing objectives while fending off waves of Zeds (including formidable bosses). The game offers six playable characters, each with distinct abilities and skill trees, along with a variety of weapon types ranging from assault rifles to flamethrowers.

You have the option to customize and enhance your weaponry by creating attachments using resources taken from defeated Zeds. For players craving a more intense experience, increased challenges can be found as well.

Concerning enhancements following feedback, Zeds now have fresh attack strategies. For instance, they can defend against frontal headshots with a protective mechanism called Bloat, and counterattack with melee strikes. It might not be wise to aim for their heads since they tend to move around erratically. Keep an eye out for further information and updates regarding these improvements.
