Kim and Kourtney Kardashian Move On From Dolce & Gabbana Drama

Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian aren’t keeping up with this drama anymore.

Two years after Kim’s fashion show collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana during Milan Fashion Week caused tension with Kourtney, due to the similarity between the show’s attire and Kourtney’s wedding dress by the designers, the sisters shared how they reconciled through another collaboration.

In the latest episode of “The Kardashians” on February 27th, Kim expressed that she couldn’t think of a more ideal campaign than working together. Speaking to Kourtney, she said, “I can’t picture anything better for our upcoming SKIMS collab with Dolce. It just wouldn’t feel right without you.

However, she realized asking her elder sister to participate in the promotion might be a slim possibility given that Kourtney, who got married to Travis Barker in May 2022 at Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s villa in Portofino, had expressed before that Kim was essentially imitating her wedding for their 2022 collaboration.

It seems that’s water under the bridge as the 45-year-old agreed to work with Kim.

As Kourtney put it, “I feel like we’ve moved on in life. That sounds iconic.”

But that doesn’t mean the initial debacle doesn’t still hurt her.

At first, everything seemed like something ‘Dolce’ to Kourtney, she confessed in a private moment. “I felt so out of sync with my sister,” she said, “It felt like my emotions weren’t being acknowledged or valued. They didn’t seem to matter. She just had to have her way.

Indeed, she underscored, “As sisters, we share a bond. Life is fleeting, so it’s high time for us to leave the past behind.

When they were all decked out in identical cheetah-patterned jumpsuits on set, Kim just couldn’t help but express her excitement about the campaign.

She acknowledged that she had forgiven her and she, in turn, had also granted forgiveness. Now, they were collaborating on a remarkable photography project together.

The way Kim sees it, they’re too mature to hold on to the beef.

The 44-year-old stated, “If someone believes that our disagreements about clothing choices make us uncool, they’re out of their mind. That’s just how we behaved in elementary school.

But she’s also incredibly grateful that they’ve finally settled their differences.

Reflecting on how heated our argument became and now finding ourselves joking about it, even launching a campaign together – that’s quite remarkable, isn’t it? Kim mused. “I’m grateful for being the one to coax her back from retirement, perhaps I was the reason she retired in the first place. So, I guess I’m the one who can also send her into retirement again.
