Kim Kardashian has had a rough year.
Despite her flourishing business and enjoyment of high-end experiences like interfacing with a Tesla robot and hosting a home premiere for Wicked, the Kardashians star disclosed that she’s endured her second major injury this year.
On December 6th, she shared a story on Instagram featuring a picture of her in a cast on her foot, accompanied by the tune “Clumsy” by Fergie.
“FML,” Kim wrote alongside the photo with a swearing emoji. “Broken foot for the holidays.”
The injury is certainly inconvenient, but it is not the first one Kim has had this year. In fact, she previously shared on The Kardashians that she had broken her index and her middle fingers this summer. One of the breaks was so severe she had even noted “the bone was sticking out a little bit.”
Additionally, Kim – mother of North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (6), and Psalm (5) with her former partner Kanye West – has not disclosed specifics about her latest fall, but she did reveal the circumstances leading to her recent finger injuries.
She clarified on an episode of “The Kardashians” in July, “My large bathroom door that slides open is a bit tricky. It doesn’t have a latch, so you need to manually pull out the internal mechanisms to close it.
One evening, she observed that Saint rushed into the restroom while carrying a bag of chips, and when she instructed him to store them since it was past snack time, the bathroom door shut hard, causing injury to her fingers.
She reminisced, “I glanced down at my hand, and I tumbled to the floor unexpectedly. Upon seeing the profusion of blood, I instinctively gripped the table and knelt.
Kim noted that the injury was “horrible.”
She underscored that it’s hard to put into words, but the pain is so intense it feels like your entire body goes numb. In fact, she said it was even more agonizing than giving birth.
Despite encountering some misfortune with injuries in the year 2024, Kim took a moment to appreciate one of her numerous blessings, Saint, as he celebrated his 9th birthday. Coincidentally, she revealed her foot injury the very next day.
She excitedly mentioned in her December 5th update, ‘I’ve been looking through our photos, and it seems many are of us cuddling together.’ She continued, ‘I hope my little guy stays this affectionate forever! Here’s to one of my dearest partners, who is the kindest soul. Happy birthday! I adore you.’

This summer, Reign, Mason, Penelope, and North established a lemonade stand that doubled as a shop for handmade bracelets. Amazingly, even Scott got a personalized “Lord” bracelet from Penelope’s friend, Pooshalini!
