Chicago West rang in a new year with a real-life hoedown.
Approximately one week following the joyous celebration of Chicago’s seventh birthday, which Kim Kardashian commemorated with a heartfelt tribute, she offered a peek into her daughter’s cowgirl-themed birthday gathering.
To start off her January 26 Instagram Stories post, SKIMS founder shared a picture of a cowboy boot-shaped cake from Chicago, styled according to her signature pink and white color scheme and adorned with a bandana, rope, a western belt, and her nickname “Chi” on the boot. Subsequently, she offered a peek behind the scenes at the party decorations – a table draped in pink gingham cloth, bouquets of flowers, and hay bales for seating arrangements. The Kardashians star was also seen in the post.
As Kim teased, “We are setting up for Chicago’s cowgirl-themed birthday party.”
Upcoming slides depicted the birthday girl suitably dressed for the celebration, donning a complete white cowgirl ensemble – adorned with a hat, tassels, chaps, and her name embellished in shimmering silver glitter on the back of her shirt. The song “Texas Hold ‘Em” by Beyoncé’s alter ego, Cowboy Carter, filled the background music.
Kim donned an outfit resembling a complete black ensemble, just like her daughter. She accessorized with a dark bolo tie, coordinating Louis Vuitton cowboy hat and belt, and concealed denim jeans beneath her leather chaps.
Apart from the stylish mother-daughter pair, Kim too posted a video featuring her son, Psalm West, aged 5, warmly greeting Khloe Kardashian’s little one, Tatum Thompson, who is also 2 years old. Both boys were seen exhibiting their cowboy personas.
It’s not the first time that Chicago spared no expense for her birthday celebration. Back in February, Kim threw a pink-themed Bratz party for her youngest daughter who turned 6.
Kim, who co-parents children North (age 11) and Saint (age 9) with her ex-husband Kanye West, has openly discussed the challenges of being a single mother to her four children while benefiting from a strong network of support.
