Scott Disick knows Kim Kardashian is comfortable using legal jargon in everyday life.
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but embrace the delightful gift that didn’t incite any objections from me. Indeed, the founder of SKIMS found it hard not to express her enthusiasm over a cake reminiscent of “Legally Blonde,” which I was fortunate enough to receive upon my graduation from law school, courtesy of Kourtney Kardashian’s former partner.
The three-layered cake was pink, and it showcased law books neatly piled up. On the books’ spines were the words “Legally Graduated,” while a small sign that said “Kim is My Lawyer” hung below.
As I shared on my Instagram Story on May 22nd, I couldn’t help but express my gratitude to Scott for the fantastic cake he created. Let me tell you, it was simply amazing! I exclaimed, “Wow, this cake!!!
After a woman aged 44 revealed that she had earned her law degree after six years of study, she opened up about her unique journey in chasing her aspirations, which deviated from the typical route.
In her Instagram post on May 22nd, she expressed that it was challenging and took more time than expected, but she never gave in. Each phase presented moments of self-doubt, tears, and victories – particularly when she overcame subjects she initially found intimidating. That’s the charm of life: you venture into the uncertain, persevere, and ultimately come out stronger with wisdom and resilience that can’t be taken away.
She explained that she selected a demanding course accredited by the California State Bar, using 75 previously earned college credits to finish a four-year program that ultimately took six years. She emphasized that her experience was genuine, and so is her achievement.
Kim also highlighted that she deeply appreciated the individuals who guided her through this new career stage, and stressed how incredibly valuable this experience proved to be for her.
She ended by saying, “This encounter has left a deep impact on me, one that will remain with me throughout my life. Here’s to honoring strength and fresh starts!
In 2018, Kim, driven by her passion for criminal justice reform, joined a four-year apprenticeship with a legal firm. She attempted the California “baby bar” exam, which is taken by students studying in unaccredited law schools after their first year, three times before finally passing in 2021.
Additionally, she successfully completed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination last March, a significant milestone in her journey to practice law in California.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but admire how Kim Kardashian draws inspiration from social justice causes. Yet, her determination is also fueled by the legacy of her father, Robert Kardashian Sr., who boldly stood as one of O.J. Simpson’s defense lawyers during his 1995 murder trial.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram in March, Kim expressed her thoughts: “My dad would be incredibly proud and taken aback to see me on this path now, yet he would have made an ideal study companion.” She was told that her father was known for teasing those who failed on their first try, just like him, but he would have been my most enthusiastic supporter!
