King of the Hill Revival Gets the Gang Together in First Full Clip

Excitedly speaking here, I can’t contain my enthusiasm for the upcoming events in the world of “King of The Hill”! Although the fourteenth season hasn’t hit our screens yet, the Hill family is already making quite a splash with previews and sneak peeks that are keeping fans on their toes. Mark your calendars for August 4th, as that’s when we’ll get to rejoin Hank, Peggy, Dale, and Nancy once more!

One of the treats we’ve received is a clip from the series, where our beloved characters visit the “George W. Bush Museum”. In this tantalizing teaser, they engage in some lively discussions about the former President and his works. This isn’t just any ordinary clip – it’s the first glimpse we get of “time skip Nancy”, as the animated series progresses. Can’t wait to see how things unfold!

For anyone who might want a reminder about the Hills’ activities since leaving Arlen, Texas, here’s an update: It appears that Hank got a job in Saudi Arabia to carry on his propane and propane accessories sales, seemingly unaware of the COVID pandemic in the U.S., but for reasons yet unknown, he’s back. The time jump in the series has made Bobby, Connie, and Jacob grown adults. Most of the cast members look noticeably older too. Fortunately, all ten episodes of the new season will be streamable on Hulu starting August 4th, allowing fans to binge-watch season fourteen and start off August with a King of The Hill marathon session.

King of The Hill Revival Introduces Hank Hill’s Replacement

Hank Hill’s Past With Bush

On another occasion, George W. Bush, a previous U.S. president, has been mentioned in “King of The Hill.” In the eighty-fifth episode titled “The Perils of Polling,” Hank had the chance to greet Bush personally and shake his hand. However, Hill was left speechless due to what he perceived as a “feeble handshake,” making it challenging for the animated character to decide on a candidate when it came time to vote.

In an interview with Vulture, the showrunner Saladin K. Patterson talked about Hank’s political stance and how it might influence the revival: “Hank was the voice of common sense in the original series, skillfully portraying moderate views amidst extremes. However, with Hank absent, the country has undergone significant changes, causing the middle ground that Hank once occupied to shift dramatically.

As a curious onlooker, I haven’t received official word from Hulu about a fifteenth season for the reborn Fox series, “King of The Hill.” However, this doesn’t automatically rule out the possibility of more seasons. Previous revivals like Futurama and Animaniacs have proven that multiple seasons can follow after a comeback, with Futurama even planning a new season soon. With Hank making a splash in Fortnite by riding the Battle Bus, there’s a growing excitement among fans, eagerly awaiting the show’s grand return.
