King of The Hill’s Director Reveals Exciting New Animation Amid Fan Controversy!

The popular TV show known as “King of The Hill” is returning after a long hiatus since its original series ended. Over the years, Hank Hill and his family have been living abroad in Saudi Arabia due to work commitments, but they are now planning to return to their hometown of Arlen, Texas, ready to continue from where they left off. The fourteenth season will be available on Hulu this August, accompanied by a series of promotional content that previews the new episodes and its updated animation style. A director involved in the revival has been actively sharing updates about the return of the Hills on social media.

In a recent update on social media, director Kelly Turnbull shared their involvement in bringing back the beloved series “King of The Hill.” They referred to this project as a nostalgic return, saying, “I’ve been hesitant to discuss it much due to concerns about online harassment and intrusions into my professional space. However, I had the privilege of directing the premiere episode for the revival. While I may be biased, I genuinely enjoy the new episodes and hope others do too. Turnbull’s Resume Before Arlen

Kelly Turnbull has a wealth of experience in the animation industry, having collaborated with significant figures in entertainment. In the past, Turnbull served as a storyboard artist for animated shows like “Ben 10”, “Solar Opposites”, and “Star Trek: Lower Decks”. Additionally, she held the position of assistant director on the Netflix spin-off of “Big Mouth”, titled “Human Resources”. In honor of Father’s Day, Hulu has unveiled fresh glimpses of the eagerly anticipated comeback for “King of The Hill,” hinting at how the Hills have evolved during their absence. As characters in Arlen grow as expected, fans are intrigued about additional changes that await them when the show resumes on August 4th. Instead of airing each episode weekly like the original series, season fourteen will debut all ten episodes simultaneously to launch August effectively.

Surprisingly, aside from unveiling fresh animation to excite fans for the revival of “King of The Hill”, the show has unexpectedly made an appearance in Fortnite! Alongside characters from “Bob’s Burgers” and “Family Guy”, Hank has climbed aboard the Battle Bus. To celebrate Mike Judge’s work, Epic Games has provided players with a host of new items as tributes. It will be intriguing to observe where else the Hill family pop up before their official return this summer.
