Following its sneak peek at Opening Night Live, there’s been an extended, approximately 25-minute demonstration for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This latest showcase follows the journey of Henry from Skalitz as he encounters various characters and faces decisions with far-reaching implications. You can watch it below.
In this scenario, Henry embarks on a mission to locate Raynek. After a while, he finds Raynek hidden in the sewers behind a tavern. He manages to rescue him, and from Raynek’s body, he retrieves a bow. This bow can either be given to other NPCs or kept by Henry himself, leading to combats where he defeats his adversaries. If one prefers a non-violent approach, they can choose to pay some money instead.
The mission at hand is about locating a man, married to a woman, who intends to falsely accuse an innocent person of a crime and seek vengeance for perceived mistreatment. Dialogue options seem to have certain restrictions; make the wrong choice, and it results in a life-or-death conflict. The updated combat system appears smoother than before, and it seems more intuitive to decide which direction to swing your sword effectively.
On February 11th, 2025, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Keep an eye out for additional information as the Gamescom event begins.
