As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the latest sneak peek into Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has me positively giddy! Having played and thoroughly enjoyed the original game, I’m eagerly anticipating the sequel.
In a sneak peek provided by IGN Forest, Warhorse Studios’ upcoming game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has disclosed around 43 minutes of its gameplay. The narrative commences with the character Godwin, a soldier engaged in defending a fortress from an enemy siege. However, the scene swiftly shifts back by several weeks to introduce us to Henry from Skalitz.
Accompanied by his trusted companion Sir Hans Capon, Henry and his group ride across the scenic countryside. As they journey, they encounter an opposing force of soldiers. At this point, the player is given the option to select one of three approaches for Henry – a Soldier, proficient in combat; an Adviser, skilled in persuasive speech; or a Scout, adept at stealth. Initially, you’ll gain some experience points, but later on, you’ll need to decide which traits to develop further.
It appears this suggests a potential for blending various playstyles, but we’ll have to witness more to confirm. The gameplay demonstrates Henry and Hans engaging in combat practice (helping players grasp the fighting mechanics), a mini-game involving dice, and additional features.
