Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Healing Guide – Quick Ways to Recover Health Fast!

In the latest medieval open-world RPG by Warhorse Studios, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, be prepared for some challenging, even grueling, experiences – particularly during combat. With quality armor and masterful swordplay, you might just manage to skirt injury; however, injuries are inevitable, and your health will inevitably deplete at some point.

Deliverance 2 doesn’t have any self-healing mechanisms that occur automatically over time, so healing will require some conscious effort on your part.

It’s fortunate that multiple methods for recovery exist in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, making it relatively simple and not excessively costly. The subsequent passage contains all the essential information about this process, so feel free to continue reading.

How to heal in KCD2

As a dedicated gamer, I want to share some insights on the healing process in our game. To truly mend your character effectively, it’s crucial that you first address any draining injuries or wounds, symbolized by a blood drop icon. You can attend to these wounds using bandages, which can be found on defeated foes and hidden chests, or purchased from merchants like the Trader and Bathhouse vendors. Given that severe wounds might require several bandages for healing, it’s wise to accumulate a good supply of them before embarking on your next adventure.

After addressing the wound, there are two paths to recovery. The initial method is taking a good rest, which gradually restores your health over time as you sleep. If you’re looking to speed up this process, consider drinking Chamomile concoctions while sleeping; they will aid in healing more quickly. You can prepare these potions yourself through Alchemy using Wine, two Chamomile flowers, and a pinch of Sage. Simply boil the Wine and Chamomile for an hourglass turn, grind the Sage, add it to your cauldron, and then transfer the mixture into a vial. Alternatively, you can purchase these potions from an Apothecary; look for the potion symbol on your map or signposts similar to the one depicted above.

To promote faster healing and help alleviate hangovers (if prepared correctly), try concocting Marigold infusions. To prepare these using Alchemy, combine one Nettle with a cauldron of Water and simmer for about two hours. Afterward, grind up two Marigolds and incorporate them into the brew before serving. Alternatively, you can purchase these infusions from an Apothecary if you prefer not to make them yourself.

The choice of healing approach depends on the situation you are in. If you anticipate another battle or it’s early in the day, consider drinking Marigold decoctions for swift recovery and to avoid staying awake at night (use a torch if necessary). On the other hand, if it’s approaching nighttime and you plan to sleep soon, focus on restoring your health naturally through sleep, and drink Chamomile decoction if your injuries are severe.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been released and can be played on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC (through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG), and PS5. This game is without a doubt one of the standout titles for both Xbox and PC in 2022, so if you’re a fan of RPGs, it’s definitely worth checking out (and at only $44.99 on CDKeys, it’s a fantastic deal).
