In a recent update, the creators of “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” have unveiled Version 1.2.2, resolving various problems and making platform-specific adjustments. The long-awaited second installment has been thriving since its debut in early February, and the team behind “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” is consistently providing useful patches and new content for this medieval role-playing game.
In its initial month of sales in the US, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 surpassed its predecessor’s sales by a factor of five. It sold over one million copies on its first day and reached two million copies within its first fortnight. The follow-up game has offered players an improved experience compared to the original, which was praised for its dedication to realism but received criticism for the numerous bugs it had at launch. After its release, Warhorse Studios has been consistently releasing updates to fix annoying bugs and address player feedback, with the latest hotfix now available on all platforms.
Live now: Update 1.2.2 for “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2”, resolving several gameplay and user interface problems as well as platform-specific glitches. This update rectifies an issue where certain players continued to be regarded as trespassers in rented rooms even after leaving the map and re-entering, and a bug in the “Into the Underworld” mission where Goatskin would vanish upon loading a save from an earlier version of the game. The option to start a new game has been taken out of the game’s pause menu to prevent players from unintentionally overwriting their saves. Furthermore, PC gamers will no longer experience issues with the main menu when closing the barber overlay using a mouse.
On March 13th, Warhorse Studios unveiled the first free expansion for “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2”, featuring barber options, Hardcore mode, and horse racing within the action RPG. Update 1.2 encompasses numerous fixes, adjustments, enhancements such as improved combat mechanics, performance upgrades, enhanced NPC behavior, and additional features. The “Brushes with Death” DLC is set to launch this summer, with “Legacy of the Forge” and “Mysteria Ecclesia” arriving in autumn and winter respectively.
In the course of their adventure through the realm of Bohemia, players of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are still uncovering Easter eggs. One enthusiast even spotted a character reminiscent of Cyberpunk’s Johnny Silverhand. Another player showcased an in-game replica of the Trosky Tower from the Czech Republic on social media, which was meticulously reproduced within the game.
