It’s challenging to conceive how a game like “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” could accommodate more content in an already overflowing game, but Warhorse Studios is gearing up to release a significant new update for the title less than a month after its launch. The anticipated 1.2 update for “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2,” scheduled for March 13th, promises some eagerly awaited enhancements that could significantly alter the gameplay experience. This update appears to mark the beginning of “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2″‘s continued evolution, and it seems to be setting a strong foundation for its future development.

In contrast to many other RPGs, the customization possibilities for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 at its release were quite limited. Since protagonist Henry is already well-established in the series, there isn’t much leeway for players to modify his looks beyond selecting what clothes he wears. However, with update 1.2, a Barber Mode will be introduced to enhance Henry’s appearance customization options.

In the latest update, gamers can now customize Henry’s appearance by visiting a barber in either Zhelejov or Kuttenberg. A variety of hair and beard styles are available for selection. Interestingly, the original “Kingdom Come: Deliverance” had this feature added later, making it somewhat surprising that “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” didn’t include it at launch. While we don’t know yet how extensive this feature will be, given the game’s focus on detailed mechanics like blacksmithing and alchemy, a realistic and engaging barber simulation might be in the works.

It appears that the Hardcore Mode, which is set for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, won’t be featured in update 1.2.
