Deliverance 2″ is now up for sale across all platforms. It’s important to note that some players who own “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” may have already experienced this mission.

On February 4th, the newest open-world RPG by Warhorse Studios debuted on the market. Those who pre-ordered any version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 were given The Lion’s Crest quest for free and have been able to enjoy it since its launch day.

Starting Friday, March 28th, the pre-order bonus for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been released as a standalone product. This means that if you purchased Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 after its initial release, you can now acquire The Lion’s Crest DLC pack. Available on the PlayStation Store, Xbox/Microsoft Store, and Steam, this additional content costs $4.99.

The Lion’s Crest Isn’t Part of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Expansion Pass

Although The Lion’s Crest is considered the game’s first paid DLC mission, it does not fall under the RPG’s expansion pass. The $29.99 add-on, however, will provide more extensive storylines, with the Brushes With Death DLC being the first, set to arrive in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 during Q2 of 2025. Previously, Warhorse Studios mentioned that Brushes With Death will focus on a “mysterious artist,” and Henry will collaborate with this character in some capacity. The following Expansion Pass storyline is called Legacy of the Forge, which allows players to restore Kuttenberg’s forge and hone their blacksmithing skills over multiple quests. Legacy of the Forge is currently planned for a Q3 2025 release.

Deliverance 2, titled Mysteria Ecclesiae, will have you trying to halt a lethal disease outbreak at the Sedletz Monastery, situated north of Kuttenberg. Although the main game doesn’t offer much with this location, there is an optional quest called The Reliquary that transports players briefly to the Sedletz Monastery. It is scheduled for release in Q4 2025 and presumably marks the end of the game’s additional content updates.

How To Start The Lion’s Crest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

In the recently launched DLC of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, discovering The Lion’s Crest mission might prove challenging since the game doesn’t highlight it much. However, there’s one subtle clue – a marker for the DLC quest in Troskowitz. Once you finish the game’s initial, linear story segment, this marker will appear on your map. The mission is essentially a treasure hunt with riddles to solve, and the prize is an armored set that once belonged to Knight Brunswick, an old Czech tale character who was said to have formed a bond with a lion during his travels.
