Kings of Leon’s UK Tour Canceled After Lead Singer’s Shocking Injury!

Due to an unexpected incident, the rock group Kings of Leon regrettably need to scrap their planned concerts in the United Kingdom and Europe.

This summer, the American rock bands were scheduled to perform a string of concerts in Cardiff and Lancashire, along with gigs in Spain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, Belgium, and Portugal.

Instead, Caleb Followill, the band’s lead singer, has canceled upcoming performances due to an injury he sustained while playing with his kids – specifically, he fractured his heel.

On the band’s Instagram account, Followill shared: “Greetings to all, and a special hello to our European fans eagerly awaiting our concerts this summer. Sadly, I must announce that those performances will be called off as a result of an unexpected accident that occurred recently.

My health is improving, but I’ve been advised not to stand, travel, or engage in any activities for the following eight weeks or so. It’s quite disappointing.

We’ve been eagerly anticipating it, as we’ve spent quite some time getting ready for our upcoming tour, taking care of numerous preparations.

He mentioned: “We’ve been working in the recording studio, and we’ve got plenty of fresh tunes ready. We intended to introduce some of these at this tour.

Originally, we had many thrilling projects lined up, but due to circumstances, we’ll need to adapt and discover alternative methods to carry on with the work we’ve already initiated.

I’m really looking forward to sharing what we’ve been working on with you! In the meantime, we’ll continue to push ahead and complete as much work as possible given my current limitations.

I have some news that might not be what you were hoping for, but rest assured, everything is going to work out.

“Everything is going to be good. Hopefully, we will see y’all soon.”

The video ended with Caleb panning the camera across to his leg, which was in a cast.

The Kings of Leon band members, including Jared, Nathan, and Matthew Followill, have announced that their lead vocalist, Caleb Followill, has suffered a severe foot injury, specifically a broken heel. This injury necessitates urgent surgery, causing him to be unable to travel or perform for the time being.

The predicted healing period is approximately eight weeks, under the close supervision of skilled orthopedic professionals.

Unfortunately, the band has to announce the cancellation of all their headlining shows at UK and European festivals scheduled for June and July this year.
