Knives Out star Katherine Langford announced as new Cabaret lead

As a seasoned theatergoer who has attended countless productions spanning from Broadway to Off-Broadway, I am beyond excited for Katherine Langford and Adam Gillen’s upcoming performances in Cabaret at the West End! Having followed Langford’s career since her breakout role in 13 Reasons Why, I can’t wait to see her make her West End debut as Sally Bowles. And let’s not forget about the Olivier Award-winning Gillen, whose comedic timing and charisma are unmatched – he’ll undoubtedly bring the Emcee to life in a way that will leave audiences spellbound.

It’s been revealed that Katherine Langford and Adam Gillen will be the upcoming duo to take on the lead roles in the production of Cabaret at the West End.

As a passionate film critic, I’m thrilled to share that the versatile Danny Ramirez Langford, recognized for her captivating roles in Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why and Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, is set to make her West End debut as the iconic Sally Bowles. This exciting news has me eagerly awaiting her performance!

In this scenario, the Olivier Award-winning actor Gillen, known for his role as Liam Conroy on ITV’s Benidorm, will take on the part of the Emcee.

Starting from 23rd September 2024, the roles previously held by Rhea Norwood (from Heartstopper) and Layton Williams (from Bad Education) will be assumed by two new individuals.

The shows featuring Gillen and Langford will continue until 25th January 2025, playing at the Playhouse Theatre located within the KitKat Club in London.

Starting from 2021, I’ve been part of an exceptional run of Cabaret shows graced by some prominent figures in TV and film such as Eddie Redmayne, Cara Delevingne, and Maude Apatow. As we speak, tickets are available for the show all the way up to May 2025, promising another wave of celebrities to join us on stage. I can’t wait!
