Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace Teases "Even Bigger" Surprises at TNA Slammiversary

As a long-time fan of TNA wrestling, I am beyond excited for this weekend’s historic event, TNA Slammiversary, taking place in Montreal, Canada. The energy is electric, with nearly all championships on the line and a sold-out crowd of 4000 people – the largest in several years!

At the summer’s most anticipated TNA event, TNA Slammiversary, taking place in Montreal, Quebec, Canada this coming weekend, almost all championships are up for grabs. With a fully booked venue, the highlight includes Jordynne Grace defending her Knockouts title against Ash By Elegance (previously known as WWE’s Dana Brooke) in their first-ever encounter. The tension between them has been simmering since Ash made her debut back in January. Furthermore, the TNA World Title will be contested in a thrilling six-man elimination match where Moose aims to keep his title against Joe Hendry, Nic Nemeth, Frankie Kazarian, Josh Alexander, and Steve Maclin.

Even Bigger” Surprises Headed to TNA Slammiversary

TNA is making history with a sold-out crowd of 4,000 fans in Montreal, their biggest attendance in years. The surge in popularity can be attributed to their collaboration with WWE leading to numerous NXT crossovers and some of TNA’s top talent joining NXT. Since their last house show in 2011, this marks TNA’s return to Montreal. Following the pay-per-view event, there will be tapings scheduled for the next day featuring Maclin, Jake Something, Ali, Nemeth, Moose, PCO, and Jody Threat.

Grace shared with Sports Illustrated before the major wrestling event her promise of even more shocking surprises than fans anticipate. “The surprises will be more astonishing than fans expect,” Grace hinted. “TNA and NXT are renowned for their unexpected twists in wrestling. It’s hard to dispute that. If you’re weary of unwanted spoilers, don’t miss Slammiversary. Our intention is to reignite fans’ passion for wrestling.”

In January, TNA went back to its roots and rebranded itself, marking a new chapter for the company. Up until then, we had seen moderate success. Rob Kligman from Anthem Sports recently shared that we’re working on a significant revenue boost through a new distribution deal, but he kept the details under wraps.
