Konami announces co-op survival adventure game Survival Kids for Switch 2

Konami unveiled “Survival Kids,” a team-oriented survival-adventure game, specifically designed for Nintendo Switch 2. The release date is set for June 5, which coincides with the console’s launch.

This game is part of a series that was initially introduced to the world with the launch of “Survival Kids: Kotou no Boukensha,” which is also recognized as “Lost in Blue” in the western market, on June 17, 1999, for the Game Boy.

Here is an overview of the game, via Konami:

Welcome to Survival Kids, a survival adventure game available exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2!

Imagine instead: An overlooked attic filled with layers of dust, cobwebs, untouched cardboard containers, and a faint scent of disuse. Four inquisitive children happen upon a worn-out, antique map, igniting an unforeseen journey of excitement…

Venturing out on a rickety vessel, they’re unexpectedly swept into a secret realm teeming with peril and enigma by an abrupt, fierce tempest. It’s now your mission to assist them in collaborating and navigating their return journey in Survival Kids, a dynamic, cooperative survival game suitable for players of all ages!

Isolated across a chain of distinct islands perched atop colossal Whurtles, join forces with up to four companions in either local or internet-connected cooperative play. Navigate, harvest, manufacture, fish, prepare meals, and overcome challenges as a team, while enduring whatever obstacles these islands present!

As a seasoned gamer, I embark on this adventure to conquer the island’s trials. With the mystical Harmony Stones at my disposal, I’ll quell the tempest, ensuring a safe return. And when I triumphantly make it back home, I’ll weave an unforgettable tale of heroism and victory!
