As I look back on the beautiful journey of Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian‘s blossoming family, I can’t help but feel a sense of admiration for the experiences they have shared with their little boy, Rocky. Having witnessed the milestones in their lives through these images, I am truly captivated by their bond as parents and partners.
Kourtney Kardashian is hoping to keep up with breastfeeding for the foreseeable future.
The Kardashians’ famous star expresses her intention to continue nursing her 8-month-old son, Rocky, with Travis Barker, past the one-year mark. She feels content with this choice for now.
In total, she breastfed her 9-year-old son Reign, whom she has joint custody of with ex Scott Disick, as well as her older children Mason, 14, and Penelope, 12, for roughly that length of time.
“For a year, I took care of Reigny, but then he began biting me,” Kourtney shared during the July 18 episode of her Hulu show.
Kourtney, being an attentive parent, continues to embrace co-sleeping with her son Rocky. She finds it to be the most convenient and comforting arrangement for both of them.
The 45-year-old shared, “I sleep next to him in the bed. He wakes up with a smile every morning.”
In her own words, the Lemme founder confessed that she grows restless when she’s separated from Rocky for extended periods. She expressed, “I dislike being apart from him.”
Kourtney strongly prefers the attachment parenting approach in raising her children, which emphasizes the importance of close physical contact between mom and baby. Following this practice, she chose to spend the first 40 days at home with Rocky to foster their special bond.
After giving birth, women in various cultures stay at home for 40 days to allow their bodies to recover. Additionally, I personally practice attachment parenting and prefer not to be away from my child for long periods of time. (The Kardashians episode aired on June 27, 2023)
In other words, Poosh’s founder is focusing on something other than quickly returning her body to its previous form as she has done before.
After welcoming Mason into our family, there was much discussion about how quickly one could recover. I, too, wanted to get better, but as I was nursing him, I decided to take things slowly.
