Kourtney Kardashian’s Heartwarming 5-Hour Naptime with Son Rocky Revealed!

Kourtney Kardashian is putting her parenting duties first.

In caring for her and Travis Barker’s 18-month-old son Rocky Barker, the Kardashians star emphasized her commitment to providing an environment that strengthens their emotional connection by doing whatever is necessary.

In an episode of her “Khloe in Wonderland” podcast on May 21st, Kourtney shared with Khloe that she tends to hold him during his naps using the attachment-parenting approach since he weighs approximately 23 pounds.

In our cozy corner of the room, I’ll find my favorite small chair. There’s still my snuggly nursing pillow nearby, and my precious one will curl up on it. But instead of him being directly under my arm, I’ve got my arm tucked in for comfort. And to shield us from any potential harm from electromagnetic fields, I wrap us both with a tiny radiation blanket while using my phone.

Kourtney mentioned that she occasionally keeps Rocky with her for as long as five hours at a stretch. It’s important to note that she is also the mother of Mason Disick (15), Penelope Disick (12), and Reign Disick (10), all children she had with ex Scott Disick. Furthermore, Kourtney explained her reasoning behind adopting such a caring parenting approach.

She said that, ideally, separation should be minimized during the first three years because it significantly aids in fostering a strong and secure bond between parent and child.

She continued, “That’s essentially my gut feeling – it’s the direction I tend to incline toward. It seems like that’s what I should do. Simply put, it’s my maternal intuition. After all, who knows better than a mother?

As Kourtney looked back at strategies she’d attempted when Penelope was born, she found some aspects were noticeably distinct this time around, given that it had been nearly a decade since her last experience in caring for a newborn baby at age 46.

In her own words, the founder of Poosh explained that they had usually slept in the same bed as their siblings, but they also slept in the same room as Rocky.

In contrast to Khloé, who co-parents her children True Thompson, age 6, and Tatum Thompson, 2, with her former partner Tristan Thompson, I, as a lifestyle expert, would describe myself as a bohemian mom, embracing a more carefree approach to motherhood.

Kourtney remarked to her sister that Travis, being a drummer for Blink-182 and a father to Landon Barker, Alabama Barker, Atiana De La Hoya, and stepdaughter Atiana, tends to be less structured compared to her. She explained that while they do have some general guidelines, they were never strict with schedules, especially as babies. As for Travis, it seems he doesn’t adhere to a regular schedule either.

However, when it comes to handling her children’s illnesses, Kourtney often feels inclined to challenge traditional methods.

She expressed that being authentic means not yielding to any predefined norms, and in her case, she’d rather nurture her children’s fevers naturally instead of administering medication like Tylenol or ibuprofen.

As I embarked on my therapeutic journey, I found myself questioning established norms and methods at times – this was not only about personal functioning but also collective operations. Embracing a spirit of rebellion, I delight in going against conventional wisdom whenever possible.
