Kristen Gutoskie’s Stunning Transformation into Octomom Revealed!

Kristen Lee Gutoskie is taking pop culture fans back to 2009.

The actress from “The Handmaid’s Tale” who plays Natalie Suleman in “I Was Octomom: The Natalie Suleman Story,” which premiered on Lifetime on March 8, shared her insights into how she delved into the psyche of the woman famously known as “Octomom,” who gained global attention for giving birth to the first set of octuplets that survived in 2009.

Kristen acknowledged she needed to refresh her memory about the story’s details before assuming the role. She shared this with Francesca Amiker from TopMob News, saying, “It suddenly occurred to me, ‘Ah, I recall now, she was the one with many children.’

She mentioned, “I recalled the images I’d come across earlier. Upon investigating her further and delving into her character, I found myself thinking, ‘Wow, there were many intriguing aspects, numerous tabloids, a variety of different stories,’ so it was all fresh information for me.

Instead, the actress from Chicago Fire chose that her limited understanding of the role allowed her to approach it with an unbiased outlook.

She put it this way: “There’s an intriguing quality about her, as if I recognized her, but not fully understood her background. From my current vantage point, I can see her in a sense of hindsight, without being clouded by prior assumptions about her.

Following in Nadya’s footsteps for the show, Kristen aims to silence any negative comments towards the 49-year-old mother, who is blessed with octuplets Noah, Josiah, Nariyah, Maliyah, Jonah, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Makai, as well as Ameerah, Calyssa, Elijah, Caleb, Joshua, and Aidan. Despite her assistance in the movie and six-part docuseries titled “Confessions of Octomom,” which premieres on March 10, Nadya has always been cautious about her children’s exposure to the public eye, refusing offers for a reality series of her own that would keep them out of the limelight as much as possible.

Kristen shared with TopMob that she perceives this woman as not just any human, but primarily as a loving mother of exceptional children. These 14 kids, according to her, are flourishing, charming, intelligent, and stunningly beautiful.

Kristen, now a mother of 22-month-old son Elijah, finds that her personal experience as a parent has given her a more profound understanding and empathy towards Nadya and her tale.

She shared that we covered numerous topics, with motherhood being a significant focus. Reflecting on our conversation, I believe I wouldn’t have been prepared to take on this role if it weren’t for my recent journey into motherhood.

Besides aiding her in embodying the character, the movie also positively influenced her as a parent. The actress from Narcos: Mexico stated, “In fact, it provided me with inner fortitude as a mother myself.

She shared that we discussed various topics, with motherhood being a significant focus. Reflecting on the experience, she feels that taking on the role of a mother in recent times has been essential for her to fully immerse herself in it.

Beyond my involvement in the project “I Was Octomom,” my son Elijah has sparked another creative pursuit for me: my music career. As a Toronto native, I’ve recently unveiled my new single, “Stardust,” on YouTube under the name Lee Gutoski on January 3, and will soon share my second single, “Tunnel Vision.” The full EP is forthcoming as well.

Kristen expressed, “I’m really putting out music at last,” she said. “It holds a great significance to be able to do this now, as it took longer than expected, but releasing music after having a child is particularly meaningful to me in so many aspects because it represents my emotions and feelings.
