Kristin Davis Addresses Chris Noth Dating Rumors

And just like that, Kristin Davis is setting the record straight about a Big rumor.

Following a query about her romantic history with Chris Noth’s character, who played Mr. Big opposite Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City and its subsequent series, the actress firmly denied any such rumors.

“No,” the 60-year-old commented on her Instagram June 6. “I didnit!!! [sic]”

2000 marked the year when dating rumors about Davis (the actress who portrayed Charlotte York Goldenblatt on HBO) and Noth began circulating. They were captured looking affectionate at the MTV Movie Awards, with Davis playfully licking Noth’s cheek on the red carpet. More recently, these speculations have resurfaced on Reddit.

As a seasoned lifestyle connoisseur, I recently shared my thoughts on an intriguing topic during an episode of my “Are You A Charlotte?” podcast, which is all about diving deep into the world of Sex and the City. In this particular discussion, I reminisced about my past connection with Alec Baldwin, who was initially under consideration for the role that eventually went to my friend, Chris Noth. This conversation unfolded alongside a captivating clip from the June 2nd episode of our rewatch series.

And just like that, Kristin Davis is setting the record straight about a Big rumor.

Following a query about her romantic history with Chris Noth’s character, Mr. Big (the love interest of Carrie Bradshaw portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker) from Sex and the City and its subsequent series, the actress firmly dismissed such rumors.

“No,” the 60-year-old commented on her Instagram June 6. “I didnit!!! [sic]”

2000 saw whispers of a romantic relationship between Davis (famous for portraying Charlotte York Goldenblatt on HBO) and Noth, as they were spotted together looking intimate at the MTV Movie Awards. In fact, Davis playfully licked Noth’s cheek on the red carpet that night. More recently, these rumors have been revived on Reddit.

Davis, who previously had a romance with Alec Baldwin and was initially in contention for Noth’s character according to Darren Star, the franchise creator, voiced her opinions in conjunction with a clip from the June 2 episode of her “SATC” rewatch podcast titled “Are You A Charlotte?”.

On the program, the former star of Melrose Place and Megan Thee Stallion delved into the storyline of Mr. Big, whose journey concluded in season one of And Just Like That in 2022 following his demise due to a tragic heart attack, a development that stirred much discussion.

“We killed him,” Davis said. “He died on the Peloton.”

Originally, the character portrayed by Noth, who had upset fans when he left Carrie at their wedding in the 2008 “Sex and the City” film after reconciliation, was set to return in “And Just Like That.” However, a flashback scene featuring him was dropped following accusations of sexual assault against the actor. He denied any misconduct and no charges were ever filed against him.

Following the media disclosure of allegations against him, Christopher Noth was also removed from the CBS show “The Equalizer” and lost partnerships with Ambhar Tequila and Peloton. However, in spite of the chaos, the actor is determined to continue his career.

In 2023, he shared with USA Today that as an actor, he can’t simply say “That’s all for me” and call it a day. He has other creative endeavors he wants to pursue. Moreover, he has dependents to support, which means he can’t just take it easy and rest on his achievements.

I must press forward under the circumstances,” Noth said. “It’s tough since people are anxious, and their fear guides them. However, I need to keep going because I still have a creative path to follow.

As for Davis, you can watch her on season three of And Just Like That, which premiered May 29.

Look back at Charlotte and other characters’ relationships on Sex and the City

Ugh, what an a–hole.

Best moment: N/A.

After experiencing such harsh, underhanded behavior from the writer later on, it becomes challenging to recall their lighthearted, endearing interactions in the beginning. HE DELIVERED THEIR BREAKUP VIA A STICKY NOTE.

Best moment: None are coming to mind at the moment, Berger. We’re sorry, we can’t. Don’t hate us.

No one believed this relationship would last, right? Still, Samantha gave it the ol’ college try.

Standout Moment: Following an evening spent with Carrie and her latest companion (accompanied by Samantha’s advice for Big to keep his distance), Maria expressed her feelings, revealing she could not maintain a friendship with Samantha.

Wasn’t something that viewers anticipated when they started watching Max’s comeback show, “And Just Like That”… but, finding herself divorced and chasing after a stand-up comedian across the nation certainly wasn’t in their predictions for Miranda’s storyline!

Best Moment: To be determined…perhaps? Alternatively, for the sheer humor, it might be when Che and Miranda got together in Carrie’s kitchen, an incident that left a post-hip-surgery Carrie needing to change her sheets due to an accidental bedwetting.

It turned out that the romance between the woman and the Russian man was overly idealized from the start… and indeed, it was unfounded. He struggled to connect with her circle of friends, while Carrie’s spur-of-the-moment decision to move to Paris unfortunately turned into a catastrophe.

Most Memorable Moment: Following numerous lavish romantic acts, Carrie was visibly overwhelmed. Therefore, it was only fitting that Petrovsky escorted her, resplendent in her ideal ball gown, to McDonald’s. There, they danced slowly as they waited for their fries – a moment that left us equally charmed.

Initially, Trey appeared to be an ideal match for Charlotte on paper. However, flaws started emerging in their relationship shortly after marriage (like his overbearing mother, erectile dysfunction, disinterest in having children, among others). And to top it all off, he gave her a cardboard cutout of a baby! What kind of man does that?

Most Memorable Incident: The heartwarming instance when Trey escorted Charlotte to Tiffany’s, allowing her to select her ideal ring as a sweet gesture to counterbalance his notorious “Alrighty!” remark.

Samantha’s initial non-sexual relationship ended due to the matter of intimacy, specifically her partner’s size in that department, namely his relatively small stature.

In a more casual and conversational style:

Samantha’s first not-just-for-fun relationship broke up over… you guessed it! Size matters, or at least to Samantha it did. Specifically, her partner’s size down there was a bit on the smaller side.

Best moment: When Samantha told James she loved him. A huge (no pun intended) moment for her.

Poor, poor Skipper. He was kind of like a Steve-lite, and Miranda was able to walk all over him.

Best moment: When he calls her “luminous” during their chance meeting at a bodega.

In the films, it was unexpected when Carrie’s close friend and Charlotte’s wedding organizer ended up becoming her best friend, but we find that concept somewhat appealing.

Most Memorable Moment: The peak moment: During their wedding vows, Anthony expressed, “It wasn’t an instant love connection, but in reality, it was love. You were the first person to embrace me as the real man that I am.

To put it simply, Aidan was truly an exceptional individual, yet he wasn’t Carrie’s Perfect Match – no matter how much they wished for it to be so. Yet, the second season of “And Just Like That…” might show that rekindled relationships are all the rage this summer. (We choose to ignore their brief encounter in “Sex and the City 2.”)

Fascinating Moment: I find it intriguing that the second breakup scene, where they opted to sleep on the cold floor of an apartment they’d never share again, resonated with us so deeply. It’s a testament to the power of storytelling and human connection in media, isn’t it?

Discuss the predicament. Robert was nearly flawless: he served as an attractive physician for the New York Knicks and shared the same soap opera preference as Miranda. However, his only shortcoming lay in not being Steve.

Most Memorable Incident: Their initial lip-locking at their lockers, or her deciding to take a day off work for the very first time, exclusively for him. Alternatively, the experience of dealing with the chicken pox together.

Among all the men featured on “Sex and the City”, Smith Jerrod could very well be the finest. His patience and generosity were remarkable, even towards the fiercely independent Samantha, who put up quite a fight to avoid falling in love with the model-turned-superstar.

Most touching memory: Isn’t it heartwarming to reflect on the moment when Smith cut off his beautiful hair, just like Samantha did during chemotherapy? Such a selfless act truly tugs at one’s heartstrings.

Absof–kinglutely. (Curse you, Peloton!)

My Favorite Scene: Oh my gosh, it has to be when Big surprises Carrie in Paris, confessing his true feelings at last! (Even though the bed fart joke or whoopee cushion incident will forever make me chuckle.)

Much like the unexpected development of Miranda’s feelings towards Steve, our affection for this pairing has taken us by surprise, as sudden and impactful as the breakup between them that unfolded in the debut season of “And Just Like That…” Here’s to hoping justice is served for Steve!

Standout Memory: Without a doubt, there was a moment that truly encapsulated the unpretentious nature of SATC’s couple Miranda and Steve – it was when Miranda unexpectedly proposed and they opted for a simple, intimate wedding in the park. They were the epitome of simplicity and perfection.

In an unexpected twist, love may just appear at the most inconvenient moments – such as when a seemingly gruff divorce attorney transforms into the ideal partner, offering unparalleled support and becoming an exceptional parent to our cherished offspring.

Favorite Moment: The charmingly disorganized yet flawlessly beautiful wedding ceremony. Since the start of the series, Charlotte had dreamt of a fairytale wedding, but in the end, she received the lasting happiness that comes with a fairytale marriage instead.

What truly matters in life is your family – the ones you share blood with or the ones you create. There are times when you cherish them deeply and other times when you might feel less than affectionate, but they remain the constant companions who welcome you back home. Your family could be the one you’re born into, or it could be the group of people you choose to build a life with.

Standout Scene: Initially, we considered Carrie escorting Miranda at her mother’s funeral as a poignant moment, but we opted for a gathering of the four friends instead. The scene we selected was when Miranda seemed uninterested in her wedding after learning about Samantha’s breast cancer diagnosis. In this instance, they all paused their celebration to comfort one another, demonstrating the essence of friendship – prioritizing others over oneself.
