Upon unveiling the sequel to Nintendo Switch’s “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess,” developed by Capcom, they hinted at some fresh content. A brand new trailer has been released, showcasing Otherworldly Venture – a new high-score attack mode. Take a look at it below.
Nestled beyond the mystical Torii Gates lies the realm of Otherworldly Venture, where players are persistently assaulted by a relentless flow of Seethe, forcing them to endure and survive. A simplified day/night cycle is in place, but as time progresses, you can opt for various rewards such as increased Crystals, additional Villagers, and more, infusing the gameplay with a roguelike flair.
On June 5th, “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” will debut for Nintendo Switch (Version 2), featuring Otherworldly Venture preinstalled. Yet, it’s not just limited to Switch, as it will also be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms, receiving a free update simultaneously on the same day.
Have a look at our assessment for additional information about the Kunitsu-Gami game – we awarded it eight out of ten, appreciating its intricate level design, formidable bosses, and diverse activities. Despite this, it fell short of meeting the publisher’s financial objectives, with over half a million players enjoying it within just a few weeks.
