Kylie Kelce's Baby Name Secret Revealed

Kylie Kelce took a few baby steps backwards when it came to naming her newborn.

Following the announcement by the host of the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, who is married to Jason Kelce and shares daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett (aged 5, 4, and 2 respectively), about the birth of their fourth daughter Finnley “Finn” Anne Kelce, she provided some background on how they chose their baby’s unique name.

In a clip from her upcoming podcast, Kylie mentioned that the baby’s full name is Finnley Anne Kelce, but they will be calling her Finn for short. She shared that the name Finn wasn’t initially on their list of names discussed with others, but it resurfaced as a strong option because it was once considered for Elliotte’s name.

Given that all our four kids are of the same gender, we needed to find an additional name, so we delved into old records and selected one from a different child, which is what we ended up doing.

In a twist, the name of her most recent baby was one she had unearthed from memories long past, but Finn’s middle name, Anne, was chosen as a tribute to those dear to Kylie within her close circle.

She explained, “Those individuals in our lives who bear the name Anne with an ‘E’ are my paternal grandmother, that was her given name; it’s also my sister’s middle name, as well as the middle names of two of my cousins.

She mentioned, “Similar to another Philadelphia Eagles partner, Annie Elliot is actually named Anne. We combined her first and middle names, and I’m content with that choice.

With baby Finn making her first appearance on the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast on April 3, Kylie understands that people might have opinions about the name she picked for him, especially since he’s the first Kelce child not to have double T’s in his name.

She clarified, “I value your perspective on the names we chose for our children greatly. While I appreciate that everyone has their own opinions, truthfully, I don’t let them influence ours. After all, we are the ones who decided on these names, and now they’re set in stone.

She concluded, “Also, she’s very much a Finn. She’s a cute little Finn.”

Back in October 2019, Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce (not related to Jason) joyfully welcomed their newborn daughter, Wyatt Elizabeth Kelce, into their lives.

Their second daughter Elliotte Ray Kelce joined the family two years later.
