As an ardent follower of the dynamic world of radio broadcasting, particularly KBLA 1580 Talk Radio, I am deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Robin Ayers. At just 44 years old, her radiant smile and infectious spirit graced our airwaves daily, leaving an indelible mark on countless listeners, including myself.
The Los Angeles radio community is mourning the loss of one of their own.
On December 6th, it was confirmed by fellow KBLA radio broadcaster Tavis Smiley that Robin Ayers had passed away at the age of 44.
In a heartfelt message, KBLA Talk 1580 expresses deep sorrow over the loss of our cherished coworker Robin Ayers, who passed away on December 5th. Tavis shared this on X (previously known as Twitter) on December 6th. Robin was an inspiring figure, her laughter and talent shining through the radio waves. We all admired her immense skill, appreciated her joyful demeanor, admired her strong family bonds, and respected her deep faith in God.
Our sympathies are extended to Robin’s entire family, but particularly her husband Rob and twin daughters Brooklyn and Madison. We encourage everyone to offer their prayers for the Ayers family during these challenging times.
In the year 2022, Robin became a part of KBLA, and started hosting a daily program titled “The RA Report with Robin Ayers“. During this show, she would invite famous personalities for interviews and share updates on the latest entertainment news. Prior to KBLA, Robin was also associated with EURweb and contributed content to TheJasmineBrand, BET, OWN Network, and Fox.
The exact reason for Robin’s passing hasn’t been disclosed yet, but as reported by EURweb, a memorial service honoring Robin is scheduled to take place under the supervision of KBLA.
