Lacey Chabert appears unfazed by speculation about her age and continues to take on new Hallmark projects without pause. With several upcoming movies set in the Hallmark universe, there’s a strong possibility that some of these will become fan favorites. Known for playing recurring characters across various network productions, Lacey has expressed a desire to reprise one specific role which I eagerly anticipate as well.
The actress who was part of the “Mean Girls” cast has appeared in over forty Hallmark movies since 2010, and a new multi-film agreement ensures more are on the horizon. However, despite all the roles she’s played and those still to come, Chabert expressed her desire to revisit one specific role again. In her own words: “There’s one role I would love to reprise.
For quite some time, I’ve yearned to create a sequel to All of My Heart. Regrettably, it never came to fruition, but the desire to revisit those characters was incredibly strong. However, working with Brennan Elliott has always been a pleasure – we’ve collaborated on 10 projects together now.
Initially released on Valentine’s Day 2015, the movie titled “All of My Heart” introduced the pairing of actress Lacey Chabert as a young caterer inheriting a rural home, which she must share and restore with a workaholic Wall Street Trader portrayed by Brian Elliott. This was their first film collaboration, and they have since appeared together in a total of ten subsequent movies. Although “All of My Heart” appears to be a standalone production for the time being, it has been delightful to continue seeing Chabert and Elliott sharing the screen in other films.
Given that circumstance, if a sequel for the film titled “All of My Heart” were to materialize following so many years, one could wonder where Jenny and Brian find themselves now, and what new adventures they’ve embarked on. Perhaps in this continuation, instead of inheriting a house, they inherit a hotel or restaurant. Naturally, their romantic tale would need to carry forward, though it might be spiced up with some fresh challenges for them to overcome. All in all, a sequel to “All of My Heart” sounds quite enticing. Even though it’s been ten years since the original movie premiered, it’s never too late to bring this story back to life.
Given Hallmark’s recent decisions that haven’t been well-received by fans, it’s uncertain if they will proceed with Chabert’s proposed sequel. The network has seen a decline in performance, and I eagerly anticipate one significant improvement in their forthcoming Christmas programming: an increase in top-quality scripts. It’s possible that All of My Heart could play a role as a sequel during the holiday season, although it remains a dream for now.
It seems that Hallmark might not be planning a follow-up to “All of My Heart” right away, but there’s a possibility for another movie starring Lacey Chabert to receive a spinoff. There have been discussions about her 2024 film, “His and Hers,” potentially getting a sequel or TV series. Interestingly enough, Brennan Elliot also stars in this film, leading some to speculate that the network enjoys seeing them work together, and many fans share this sentiment.
