Lady Gaga Welcomes First New Puppy Since 2021 Dog Kidnapping Incident

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for celebrity trends and personal experiences, I cannot help but admire Lady Gaga‘s unwavering love for her furry companions. Her bond with her French bulldogs is not just a fleeting fascination; it runs deep, as evidenced by the traumatic event that occurred in 2021 when two of her beloved pets were stolen.

If the world was ending, Lady Gaga would want to be next to her adorable new puppy.

I, absolutely thrilled and bursting with excitement, unveiled my cherished French bulldog pup on TikTok on Aug. 21, cradling the tiny ball of joy in my hands while grooving along to my fresh collaboration with none other than the incredible Bruno Mars, entitled “Die With a Smile.”

The three-colored French Bulldog boasts a dark charcoal body and a light brown nose with markings resembling eyebrows above its eyes. Gaga, also known as Stefani Germanotta, didn’t disclose the puppy’s name, but she tagged the video with a single snowflake emoji instead.

In the video, the actress who played The Joker: Folie a Deux displayed her freshly transformed appearance, sporting sleek black hair, striking blue eye shadow, and vibrant red lipstick. This style gave her an unmistakable resemblance to Harley Quinn.

In the comment area, Dylan Mulvaney expressed, “I need to see them right away,” to which Lady Gaga responded, “My new monarch.”

GaGa boasts a rich background with French Bulldogs. Among her pack are Miss Asia, an elegant all-black French Bulldog, the adorable fawn-colored pooch named Koji, and Gustav, a white French Bulldog with black spots.

Previously known for frequently sharing her pets on social media, the GRAMMY winner experienced a shift in 2021 following an unfortunate incident. Her friend and dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot during a robbery where two of the singer’s cherished dogs, Koji and Gustav, were stolen.

Two evenings ago, the dogs I cherish, Koji and Gustav, were taken in Hollywood, as Gaga shared in a statement, and she has offered a $500,000 reward for their safe return. “My heart is heavy, and I am hoping that an act of kindness will reunite my family,” she added.

Two days after they had been taken, the dogs were brought back, and it took several months for Fischer to heal from his wounds following a hospital stay. Five individuals were apprehended in connection with the dog theft, among them was James Howard Jackson, who wounded Fischer and was subsequently sentenced to 21 years imprisonment in December 2022.

In the course of the incident, Fischer made a declaration that he later shared on Instagram. He said, “In an instant, I found myself engaged in a fierce struggle to shield those dogs from being taken away. Yet, my efforts proved futile: I was brutally assaulted, choked, shot and abandoned, bleeding profusely on the pavement and gasping for breath. Tragically, Koji and Gustav were no longer with me.”

In January, Fischer gave an update on his mental state years after the incident occurred, saying he still suffered from PTSD.

He posted on Instagram that life had become extremely challenging to manage. However, as he creates instruments to help him overcome his fear and stay grounded in the here and now, he’s overjoyed to see his progress in healing.
