Lady Gaga’s Emotional Super Bowl 2025 Performance Leaves Fans in Tears!

Lady Gaga is holding our hand in New Orleans.

Lady Gaga delivered an emotional rendition of “Hold My Hand” on Bourbon Street, right before the start of the 2025 Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans, which took place on February 9th.

In a voluminous white dress and matching hat, Gaga delivered her Oscar-nominated tune with first responders such as Louisiana State Police troopers, New Orleans police officers, among others, nearby, appreciating the music. The Grammy award-winner was supported by a live band and a soulful choir for this unexpected performance.

The opening act takes place a month following a truck incident in New Orleans’s French Quarter that left 15 dead, including the perpetrator, and injured 57 more. Michael Strahan, donning a “NOLA Strong” shirt, and ex-New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady started the show with an inspiring message of fortitude.

In his New Orleans Fire Department shirt, Tom declared, “New Orleans’ resilience mirrors the determination of our nation.” As he and a group strolled towards Gaga, he continued, “When adversity hits, we don’t shatter. We unite. We triumph over it, refusing to let evil prevail.

Even in times when spirits seem low and optimism is hard to find, something extraordinary arises – the indomitable American spirit characterized by bravery, kindness, and unity.

While Michael acknowledged and honored communities across the United States who have faced adversities, he specifically mentioned those affected by natural calamities such as the devastating wildfires in Southern California, and also remembered those impacted by tragic events like the American Airlines plane crash over the Potomac River in the nation’s capital.
