Lana Del Rey is gearing up to unveil her eagerly awaited tenth studio album, a path that hasn’t been without challenges.
The upcoming album, perceived to have a stronger country influence, was originally titled “Lasso” upon its initial announcement. It was confirmed that she would be collaborating once again with Jack Antonoff, alongside country artist and songwriter Luke Laird.
Initially set as “The Right Person Will Stay”, the title was altered in November 2024. Later, in April, she revealed that it had been modified yet another time, leaving her followers guessing about the final decision.
Before delving into the challenges associated with sticking to the modified release dates, it’s important to note that these deadlines have been revised on several occasions as well.
You can expect that the delay will prove worthwhile since the singer is due to release some fresh songs by the end of April. After that, the eagerly anticipated album will be made available globally.
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming release…
When is Lana Del Rey’s next album release date?

At present, the exact release date of the album remains unknown, but since she’s planning a global tour this year for its promotion, it shouldn’t be much longer. Interestingly, she’s scheduled to perform in the UK in June, and tickets for the event are already available for purchase.
In a chat with her Instagram fans, Lana mentioned that the initial release date of May 21st won’t be reached, but she reassured them by saying, “I hope you understand that it’s not going to arrive as scheduled.
She then joked: “Should I even tell you that the name changed again? Maybe I’ll wait.”
Initially scheduled for release in October 2024 under the title Lasso, the album had to be postponed when Lana decided to delay its launch due to a sudden sense of creative block or pause that prevented her from completing the project.
She shared with people during that month: “I believe all the tunes are Americana so far, and I’m eager to feel out the musical vibe before deciding.
Since I rarely experience a desire for breaks during my creative work, it’s unusual when I encounter an almost tangible halt, as if it were a physical pause. In such instances, I am compelled to wait, but I remain unsure of the reason behind this necessity.
