Over the past ten years, Lana Del Rey has built a distinctive artistic realm, ranging from the grandiose cinematic style of Born to Die to the nostalgic ambiance of Los Angeles embodied in Norman F**king Rockwell. Initially known as Lizzy Grant, Lana Del Rey released her first studio album under that same name. However, when it came out, she was using “Lana Del Ray” instead of “Lana Del Rey.

Rather than a standalone album, “Paradise” can be seen as an extension of “Born to Die,” as it was released approximately 10 months following its predecessor. Without a doubt, one of the top-notch, arguably even the finest, albums on this list is Norman F**king Rockwell. This was Lana Del Rey’s first album nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys. Upon its release, it was met with near-universal critical praise. NFR boasts a 10-minute long Los Angeles lullaby, a cover of a Sublime track that is so well-executed you might think it’s her original work, and has been lauded by the likes of Rolling Stone, Apple Music, and Billboard as one of the greatest albums ever made.
The solemn introduction to an emotionally charged finale has certainly made it unsurprising that NFR was chosen as the top album by a female artist in the past 25 years, according to Pitchfork readers.

Lana’s seventh studio album, titled “Blue Banisters,” came out in a low-key manner. Before its release, Lana had disabled most of her social media platforms.
