Laptop leak shows a gorgeous PANTONE-inspired PC from a company you won’t expect

Information has surfaced regarding an exciting, vibrant upcoming laptop by Motorola. Known as the Moto Book 60, this device, which was accidentally revealed online, is speculated to hit the Indian market soon.

Known primarily for its smartphones, Motorola appears poised to venture into the laptop market in India. The Moto Book 60 is anticipated to debut on April 17th.

Currently, it’s uncertain whether the laptop will only be available in the Indian market or if it plans to expand to other locations as well.

91Mobiles recently published a report that provides certain information regarding a new laptop model, and user MotoFanboy has disclosed various technical specifications for the Motorola Laptop 60.

  • 14-inch 2.8K OLED display (500 nits of brightness)
  • Intel Core 7 processor
  • 1.4 kg (3.08 lbs)
  • Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos
  • Smart Connect
  • 60Wh battery with 65W charging

The Moto Book 60 is anticipated to debut simultaneously with the Moto Pad 60 Pro and the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus.

From the leaked photos, it appears that the Motorola Book 60 is a sleek and lightweight computer, optimized for seamless integration within the Motorola system.

Oh so colorful

The Moto Book 60 appears to be an appealing, sleek and lightweight laptop, powered by Intel’s most recent specifications. However, it’s the design of the computer’s exterior that might draw considerable interest.

In contrast to an increasing number of grayscale offerings in the technology sector, the Moto book 60 stands out with a minimum of two vibrant color choices.

A significant number of top-tier Windows laptops come in just a limited palette of colors. Although it’s feasible to design an eye-catching laptop with black, white, or gray hues (such as the 50th Anniversary Surface Laptop), offering color choices can certainly add a touch of personalization.

In simpler terms, the “Wedgwood” and “Bronze Green” shades are similar to certain colors from the PANTONE color system. While I usually prefer tech companies to stick with simple color names, I find Motorola’s use of PANTONE-inspired naming quite appealing.

As a researcher, I humbly propose an innovative step forward: A delectable spin-off of the Moto Book 60, inspired by the 2025 PANTONE Color of the Year – the luscious and rich Mocha Mousse. Motorola, let’s push the boundaries together with this tantalizing design concept!
