Lauren Conrad, More Laguna Beach Stars Attend 20th High School Reunion

Reflecting on the lives of these Laguna Beach alumni, it is truly remarkable to see how far they have come since their days of high school drama and reality television stardom. From launching successful businesses to starting families, each individual has carved out their own unique path.

Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County fans, be prepared to shed all the mascara tears.

On November 30, Lauren Conrad joined her Laguna Beach High School classmates for their 20-year reunion, bringing together not just old friends, but also a number of her co-stars from the MTV reality series.

The 38-year-old who became famous in the successful spinoff The Hills following the conclusion of Laguna Beach in 2006, posted several pictures from a recent gathering. In the group shots, she was seen with Stephen Colletti, Trey Phillips, Dieter Schmitz, Morgan Olsen Smith, and Christina Schuller Sinclair.

Lauren posted on her Instagram Stories on December 1st, “Last night was an absolute blast attending our 20-year high school reunion! Thank you to @hotellagunaweddingsandevents for providing the perfect venue for such a memorable evening.

At the 2014 high school reunion, Lauren was one of many attendees who posted pictures taken at a photo booth from the most recent gathering.

“Class of 2004,” Stephen wrote on his Instagram Stories. “Still got it.”

Conspicuously missing in the reunion pictures was Lo Bosworth, a fellow original cast member from the class of 2004, who graced both the screens of Laguna Beach and The Hills.

Earlier this year, the creator of self-care brand Love Wellness talked about the 20-year anniversary of the high school-based reality show.

On a recent episode of her podcast, “Gut Feelings with Lo Bosworth”, Lo shared with fellow Hills alum Whitney Port that she received an email from an old friend and ex-cast member. The message read, “‘Did you know, this year marks 20 years since Laguna Beach?'” Upon hearing this, Lo exclaimed, “Oh my gosh!

In my expertise, I’d say, “Back in 2004, we all graduated from high school. There’s a possibility that we might reunite, as there seems to be some buzz about it among us.

Conspicuously missing from the reunion pictures was Lo Bosworth, a fellow original cast member and graduate of the class of 2004. Known for her roles in both “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills”.

She did, however, discuss the high school reality series’ 20th anniversary earlier this year.

On a recent podcast episode of “Gut Feelings with Lo Bosworth,” Lo shared with Whitney Port that an old friend and co-star had emailed her, saying, “Did you know, it’s 20 years since Laguna Beach?” Hearing this news, Lo exclaimed, “Wow, I can’t believe it!

I enthusiastically shared, “Back in 2004, we both walked the halls of high school together. There’s a hint of possibility floating around that, under the right circumstances, we might reunite!

Conspicuously missing in the reunion pictures was Lo Bosworth, a former cast member from the class of 2004 and a familiar face on both ‘Laguna Beach’ and ‘The Hills’.

Earlier this year, the creator of the self-care brand Love Wellness also talked about the 20th anniversary of a popular high school reality show.

Reminded by an email from a friend and ex-cast member the other day, I found myself exclaiming, “Wow, can you believe it’s been twenty years since Laguna Beach?” This sentiment was shared with Whitney Port on her podcast, Gut Feelings with Lo Bosworth, on April 30th. Needless to say, my heart skipped a beat!

She added, “In 2004, we all graduated from high school. There’s talk among us that, should we meet up again, a reunion might take place.

Lo has managed to stay connected with Lauren, a friend from their early years, ever since they collaborated on the TV show “The Hills,” which concluded in 2010 following its sixth season.

On the April 17th episode of the “Just B With Bethenny Frankel” podcast, Lo shared that they are good friends. This year marks their genuine 20-year high school reunion, and in the spirit of “Laguna,” it would be fantastic to reunite with the old group.

She commented, “Everyone seems to be thriving quite nicely. The atmosphere is incredibly warm, and Laguna feels like a pleasant, genuine portrayal of reality television.

Since their collaboration on “The Hills” concluded in 2010 following a six-season run, Lo has managed to maintain contact with her childhood friend, Lauren.

Lo mentioned during the April 17th episode of the “Just B With Bethenny Frankel” podcast that Lauren and he are friends. This year, they’re having a real 20-year high school reunion, and in terms of the “Laguna” group, it would be fantastic to reunite with the old crowd.

She commented, “Everyone seems to be thriving quite well. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, and Laguna feels like a pleasant, amiable take on real-life television.

Lo later shared an update about her relationship with her other former castmates.

20 years have passed since the show ended, she shared with TopMob News in May, and she’s not regularly in contact with many of her co-stars from that time. However, she remains friendly with everyone and would gladly embrace them if they crossed paths again.

In a refreshing twist of fate, the remark made by Lisa Love in Teen Vogue, which echoed Anna Wintour’s comment about not attending Paris, seems almost comical today. After all, it was over a decade ago when Lauren chose not to go to Paris with her former partner Jason Wahler, a decision that has since been dwarfed by her impressive achievements.

The much-adored troublemaker transformed her role from a masterful instigator to a powerful figurehead, as her thriving lifestyle brand, Uncommon James, expanded with its third physical store in Dallas in 2021.

In the limelight of Laguna Beach and The Hills, a notorious troublemaker faced nothing but turmoil following his reality series stint: drugs, DUIs, brawls, arrests – you could say it all. It wasn’t until he joined Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky that he managed to clean up his act.

After providing fresh elements for our LC-Kristin-Stephen love triangle fan fiction, Laguna’s popular heartthrob is now concentrating on establishing a robust acting career. He previously appeared as a recurring character on the CW’s One Tree Hill for five seasons and portrayed Taylor Swift’s love interest in her “White Horse” music video.

He mentioned that it would be wonderful to extend invitations to LC and K.Cav, his former castmates, but acknowledged that there could be many individuals from his past attending if they decide to do so. He also suggested the possibility of having a small, intimate wedding with only a few guests.

For quite some time, LC’s closest friend made it clear that she wanted no part in this storyline. When an executive asked about rejoining the cast of The Hills, she bluntly responded, “No way!” during a 2018 episode of her Lady Lovin’ podcast. “I have no desire to be linked with any of those individuals,” she continued. “The detachment from all of them is what I crave.

20 years after our beloved show ended, I find myself not in daily contact with many of my co-stars, much like keeping up with old high school friends. However, I’m friendly with everyone and, if we cross paths, you can bet I’d give them a warm embrace. It’s just the way I am – spreading love wherever I go.

KCav, the notorious ladies’ man from Laguna, continued to make headlines with his romantic escapades, dating Kimberly Stewart and Nicole Scherzinger. However, he found lasting love when he met Danielle Torriero at an L.A. bar on her 21st birthday in 2009.

It appears that the runway show in season one was merely the beginning of Trey’s journey into the realm of fashion. Following his departure from Laguna, he ventured to New York City and enrolled at Parsons School of Design, graduating in 2010 with a dual focus on fashion design and renewable energy. Afterwards, he remained in the Big Apple, securing a position as an associate designer at Vera Wang and spending time in London.

Lauren and Stephen’s close friend moved away from the coastline, pursuing a career in hospitality and hotel management. At present, he holds a leadership position as Vice President at Choice Hotels International.

He’s still tight with his high school crew, though, Lauren, “proud groomsman” Stephen, Trey and Loren Polster turning out for his 2016 Monterey, Calif. wedding to Isabell Hiebl. The pair, who call Austria a “second home”, welcomed their first child, son Nico Josef Schmitz, in September 2018 and daughter Leni in March 2023.

Since the conclusion of her stint on MTV’s “Laguna Beach,” KCav’s friend has primarily steered clear from reality TV. After a short-lived resurgence in the spotlight due to a 2007 DUI incident, she found tranquility in Texas with her husband, Michael Evans, whom she described as incredibly kind, patient, strong, amazing, loving, and ridiculously handsome on Instagram, along with their four children.

Back then, Alex and Jessica were vying for Jason’s affection, but that was long ago. In 2014, Alex got married to Kyle Johnson. Morgan Olson, along with bridesmaids Alex H. and Taylor Cole, attended the wedding. Since then, they have been blessed with three sons: Levi in 2016, Kase in 2018, and Rome in April 2021. Utilizing her communications degree from California’s Chapman University, she co-founded MOX Agency, a social media marketing company, in 2014.

In 2004, when Morgan joined MTV, she didn’t envision herself becoming famous: “I saw it as a fun opportunity to share with friends, and a way to document my high school years on camera,” she shared with Time. Her ambition for stardom was not going to sway her from her goal of finding a kind Mormon man to build a life together.

Casey didn’t start on the reality show “Laguna Beach”, but her entrance certainly made an impact. Later, she ventured into the realm of sweets by establishing Casey’s Cupcakes in Orange County, and in 2011, she triumphed on Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars”.

Approximately three years after Alex attended Taylor’s October 2015 wedding to real estate investor Kevin Simshauser, they both became pregnant within eight weeks of each other. Their first child, daughter Tatum, was born in September 2018. Subsequently, Taylor gave birth to her son Cole in January 2020 and son Olson in August 2022. Additionally, Taylor Cole Holistic Nutrition’s founder frequently posts beautiful glimpses into her life on Instagram.
