As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for both LEGO games and the magical world of Harry Potter, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming release of the LEGO Harry Potter Collection! Growing up reading the books and watching the movies, I’ve always dreamt of stepping into Hogwarts myself.

Warner Bros. Games has revealed that the LEGO Harry Potter Collection will debut digitally on October 8th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The collection, priced at $39.99, brings together LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 in a remastered package. A sneak peek of the game can be found through the Back to Hogwarts 2024 Showcase.

According to a recent announcement, the remastered version, produced by Double Eleven, operates at 60 frames per second and offers native 4K resolution along with enhanced shadow maps. PS5 users will also benefit from compatibility with the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback technology. Two downloadable content packs are included; one of these packs includes spells such as Melofors, Ducklifors, Densaugeo, Cantis, and Tentaclifors.

The upcoming DLC introduces characters such as Luna (Cicada Head), Lockhart (Mental Hospital Patient), Helga Hufflepuff, Hermione (Pink Gown), Harry (Yuletide Ball), Godric Gryffindor, and a Ghoul version of Ron Weasley. Keep an eye out for further updates and gameplay previews ahead of the collection’s launch next month.
