In a less serious, playful twist compared to the main Horizon games, LEGO Horizon Adventures transforms everything into LEGO pieces, bringing an overall brighter mood to the game. The players assume the roles of Aloy and her companions while navigating the storyline in single-player or cooperative multiplayer modes.

During your journey, you’ll encounter numerous robot creatures that are signature to the Horizon series, which can be defeated using an assortment of tools available to the players.

In essence, LEGO Horizon Adventures serves as a simplified reinterpretation of the storyline from Horizon Zero Dawn, with a noticeably lighter mood. This game represents a significant stride by Sony towards making the Horizon series more suitable for a wider, family audience.

Regarding LEGO Horizon Adventures, it’s been one of Sony’s less successful PC launches compared to their typical releases. In fact, when it was first introduced in November, it had the smallest number of continuous players of any of Sony’s first-party PC games launched up until that point.

Compared to Sony’s other family-friendly game, Sackboy: A Big Adventure which peaked with 610 simultaneous players upon its PC release in 2022, LEGO Horizon Adventures saw a slightly lower peak of 602 concurrent players during its launch.
