As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for both LEGO and the Horizon series, I must say that the new LEGO Horizon Adventures set is nothing short of exhilarating! After countless hours spent exploring the post-apocalyptic world of Aloy, it’s heartening to see this beloved franchise get the LEGO treatment.
LEGO Horizon Zero Dawn Adventures debuted last week across Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PC platforms. To mark this occasion, LEGO has unveiled an authentic, tangible set titled “LEGO Horizon Adventures Aloy & Varl vs. Shell-Walker & Sawtooth (77037)”. This set includes 768 pieces and is now available for pre-order at the LEGO Shop for $44.99 (with the link becoming active soon). Delivery is expected on March 1st. According to its title, it comprises miniature figurines of Aloy and Varl, both armed with a bow and spear, standing in a confrontational stance against brick-built figures of Shell-Walker and Sawtooth. The Shell-Walker boasts posable limbs, openable claws, and detachable cargo pod and energy shield, while the Sawtooth includes similar attributes such as movable limbs and a swiveling torso.
LEGO Horizon Adventures is a fun and cheerful tale that’s reminiscent of the happenings from the initial chapter in the Horizon series. It gives a creative spin on the characters, machinery, and environments seen in the series, and provides fans with numerous personalization choices to play around with.
