LEGO Horizon Adventures Won’t Launch with PS5 Pro Support

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must admit I was quite excited for LEGO Horizon Adventures, especially given its connection to the acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn. However, upon learning that it won’t support the PS5 Pro and there seems to be no word on a possible update post-launch, I find myself a tad disappointed.

Live now are reviews for Guerrilla Games’ LEGO Horizon Adventures, a collaboration with Studio Gobo that delivers a kid-friendly, LEGO-inspired version of Horizon Zero Dawn. Interestingly, although it debuts around the PS5 Pro, this action-adventure game doesn’t plan to accommodate the console as reported by VGC.

According to the developer’s earlier announcement, there are two operating modes available: Performance and Fidelity. The Performance mode guarantees a consistent 60 frames per second, while the Fidelity mode sacrifices this for superior lighting effects, shadows, and textures running at 30 frames per second. There is no Pro Mode or enhanced versions of the existing modes currently offered.

Guerrilla Games hasn’t explicitly said if there will be an update for a PS5 Pro version of their game after release, and unlike other compatible titles, the game’s PlayStation Store listing doesn’t mention “PS5 Pro Enhanced.” Keep checking back for any future announcements about this.

On November 14th, LEGO Horizon Adventures will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Our review has awarded it an impressive score of eight out of ten. We were particularly impressed by its stunning visuals and endearing ambiance. However, we did note some concerns about the game’s repetitive nature and certain technical glitches.
