Based on the recent leaks, it’s not unexpected that enthusiasts of LEGO and Lord of the Rings are thrilled about the official reveal of The Lord of the Rings: The Shire (10354) set, due for release in April 2025. The leaked information has certainly fueled anticipation for this promising set. It boasts a total of 2017 pieces and features 9 Minifigures: Bilbo Baggins, Frodo, Mrs. Proudfoot, Farmer Proudfoot, Merry and Pippin (with interchangeable heads to represent the dragon firework scene), Rosie, Samwise, and Gandalf the Grey. Additionally, a free GWP set is included with your purchase. For comprehensive information on this new addition to your collection alongside the Barad-Dûr and Rivendell Lord of the Rings sets, check out the details below.

The design for the LEGO Icons: The Lord of the Rings – The Shire set is heavily influenced by the Peter Jackson movies, particularly showcasing elements from Bilbo Baggins’ eleventy-first birthday party in “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.” The miniature scene is filled with film references, boasting a meticulously detailed interior and interactive features such as the transformation of a letter into the One Ring via burning and the option to make Bilbo disappear by turning a dial. The set includes Gandalf’s horse and cart, fireworks, a firework dragon figure, the Party Tree, a party pavilion, and Bilbo’s book, which can be displayed either open or closed.

For those eager to be among the first to own The Shire LEGO set, here’s what you need to do: Sign up for free with the LEGO Insiders program and keep yourself ready from April 1st/2nd at 9pm PT / 12am ET.
