Before his tragic fall from a hotel balcony on October 16th in Argentina, the ex-member of One Direction shared a video on Snapchat expressing his eagerness to meet certain individuals upon his arrival back home.
Following a playful jab at his girlfriend Kate Cassidy by calling her a “quirky one” for leaving Argentina before him, Liam couldn’t resist expressing affection for their pet when Kate mentioned that she was going to Florida to spend time with ‘Nala’.
In the video, the 31-year-old stated clearly, “We’re heading home to see our dog – Nala, Noonie, or sometimes Chooch. I don’t usually stick to one name for her; I like coming up with unusual names.
The duo, who’ve been together for two years, recently welcomed a new furry member into their family – a dog they adopted from a local shelter called Urgent Dogs of Miami following a get-together with some canine friends. In a video posted on September 17th, Liam affectionately hugged and kissed his new pet, Nala, adding a heart emoji to the caption: “It seems we might have found our perfect match!
Later on, he presented Nala to his companions, referring to his doggy pal as “our latest relative.
From a different snapshot on Adoption Day, featuring Kate and Nala snuggling, Liam playfully remarked, “I’m feeling a bit left out as all the affection seems to be going to Kate.
Besides Nala, the artist known for “Strip That Down” also added another dog named Stanley to his family earlier this year. On February 14th, Liam posted pictures of himself and the new pet on Instagram accompanied by the caption: “Stanley, welcome to our home! Our hearts have grown even larger with your presence.
Two days following Liam’s heartbreaking death, Kate issued a statement expressing her sorrow, stating that she has been “devastated and unable to find words.
Over the last few days, it seems like I’ve been living in a dream rather than reality. My dear Liam, you are more than just an angel to me – you are everything. I want you to understand that my love for you is boundless and unwavering. Regardless of what happens, I will continue to cherish and adore you deeply.
